Dark Short is honestly one of the most original apps I’ve found in a long time. The stories are dark, intense, and super easy to get hooked on. It feels like a new way to watch true crime and thriller content.
I didn’t expect to like this app this much. The quality of the stories is really impressive, and the short format makes it perfect when you want something quick but still cinematic and addictive.

Do not download this app. It is a scam. It claims to be free, then continuously charges you for subscriptions and fees. There is no real customer support, and the developer’s contact email does not work. They also do not respond to emails or refund requests. Save yourself the stress and money. Do not download or purchase this app. I only had $10 on my card to feed my child and they took my last money even though I canceled the subscription and Apple will not refund

It’s great app but if you’re not planning on keeping it don’t sign up don’t try the so called free trial because there’s none they charged me as soon as I double clicked the side button, next thing I noticed I was trying to download an app and I couldn’t until I paid the $7.99 on Apple and remind you my trial was supposed to end on May 3rd 2026 I also canceled as soon as I signed up so I wouldn’t get charged.

I’m not sure how the app actually is, because I didn’t get that far without running into some complications. They offered a 3 day free trial. Which I enabled. Then when I went to checkout, I was immediately charged for the subscription. How can you offer a 3 day free trial and not follow through. That’s false advertising and is definitely not right
