Review of DataMan
Great app for tracking mobile and WiFi data usage. I have had no problems with this app and seems to run ok. The multitasking option for tracking uses hardly any data to track cellular usage while roaming and is great for monitoring your monthly usage. This app has also helped in switching most of my data hungry apps which were eating up cellular data to wifi use only. An option to see which apps were using up the data throughout the day well or month would be great to to help trim my apps usage still further. Keep up the good work on further developing this great app.
Useless since ios16
Doesn’t register any data over cell since ios16, this is now utterly useless.
Beware. Widgets only available to subscription!
The basic app is pointless you can see this data in your settings. The function I wanted was the widget which was not made clear that the widgets are only available with a subscription. Misleading!
Does what it says it does and does it well, but…
…not keen on paying up-front PLUS a subscription for such a very basic app. £12 a year (!) versus my service provider’s free usage tracker? Mmnnnn… We all want to see app developers making a decent living, but can this be described as fair value? Really?
Great App Spoiled With Subscription
I love this app and have used it for many years. Particularly like the stopwatch function for tethered usage. What I don’t like is the subscription model for the ‘Pro’ features. I’d gladly pay a one off for these but not £12 per year. I’m stuck with the large widget because of this but I guess that’s my choice. And for the record my aversion to subscribing extends to all apps, not just this one.
Terrible
This app fails on every count. It gives measures that are way off (30% underreported in 10 days). You can only display percentage used, and not data used. Looks good but it's completely useless. And they're expecting money for it. I mean come on, let's be serious here
