As of August 4, 2024 the calendar dates are not correctly lined up with days of the week (e.g. August 17 is Saturday, not Sunday). Would be great if you can fix that!

Update: As of December 2024 this problem has still not been fixed. December 18 is a Wednesday, not Thursday, so the App is useless (U.S. based user). The App was great while it worked. Updating hs not helped.

Ok so the awaited update arrived November 1.  Terrible!  I can’t even search for train schedules.  I logged out thinking I needed to do that so it would work.  Now the update won’t even let me log back in!!  I can no longer use English as an option.

I’m visiting Germany in 3 weeks and was relying on the DB app to search routes and purchase tickets. 

Go back to the version that worked and start over.  These updates are a joke.

### **--- "Cancellation Rebooking Issues"
I booked our entire vacation 6 months in advance with travel between 5 cities and it was easy. 
But one leg was cancelled, from Dresden to Berlin at 9:37 AM 4 months later.  
There is a train at 9:00 that I wanted to take and it was priced at the same price. But pressing ‘alternatives’ it gave me only later trains and then rebooked me at 11:00 killing much of the day in Berlin.   
Frustrating as bleep.  Why didn’t it let me book an earlier option?

For some reason all my methods of payment are being declined and I can’t buy any tickets in the app. My cards work fine otherwise and Apple Pay has never given me any issues so far. The worst thing I’d that I’m not sure what the issue is since the app’s feedback is just that the payment has been declined. I’ve tried removing all methods of payment and putting them back multiple times, but that didn’t resolve the issue. Not quite sure what else to do. Without this the app is fine for checking the timetable and planning your trip but the ability to buy tickets directly in the app was a huge plus for me.

The DB is a must-have for any visitor in Germany who expects to use the trains. It allows you to purchase tickets for individual trips as well as monitor the status of trains you plan on taking. Additionally, you can bookmark specific trips for reference — this can be especially helpful if you plan on using a travel pass and would otherwise not not need an eticket. 

Information on train delays—sadly a common occurrence in 2024—are as up to date as the postings at the station.

We traveled in and out of Germany on DB on several routes and we had problems on all routes.

For couple of routes we made reservations using this app and last minute the trains were canceled. When I go to submit compensation requests it says that only past travel can be requested while it has been 2 weeks !

I have emailed them, left feedback on the app for the particular travel but looks like they are as incompetent as their trains are and gotten zero response.

The calendar dates are off by a year. It show today as 2023 and if you go to 2024 the days don't line up. Something bizarre is going on with the dates/calendar on the app. This makes it very confusing.

### *---- "Der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm"
Diese App ist wirklich nervig. 
Die Bahn bekommt es nicht mal hin, dass wenn man sich ein Deutschland kauft, dieses automatisch in der App verfügbar ist!!!!
Man muss es umständlich manuell hinzufügen! 

Weiterhin kann man de facto den Abodschungel den die Bahn anbietet nicht über die App verwalten. 

Zum Glück muss ich die Deutsche Bahn nur in Ausnahmefällen nutzen und somit auch die App um die es hier geht!

I keep getting notifications about trying to refresh the preview of my BahnCard. Sometimes it’s every couple minutes, then maybe a delay of a half hour, then more notifications. This is incredibly irritating. I’m deleting the app and traveling by plane instead.
