Depop | Buy & Sell Clothing

My account was wrongly suspended after a product, I had verified on another platforms such as vinted, was taken down for a second time after I added care label images to verify authenticity. I believe this is because the system flagged I try to reupload a counterfeit product when in reality I just wanted to prove it was real with more close up care label pictures. I have been a loyal customer and user for years, very disappointed this is how Depop treats me :( my account is @cloutfitts but now will be taking my services to vinted…

stay far from this app… one of the terrible app ever! neither EBAY nor VINTED ever allow anything like depop! They demand respect for their rules but do not respect their customers! they delete the lists and when you show the proof they say they are invalid! the certificate of authenticity is not valid... the item passed the authenticity and quality control but they say it is not valid and your account is suspended… unbelievable but fact.. depop do what they want… think twice before start use depop

I have even updated the app but I’m still unable to save items. I don’t know why this is as it was working yesterday

Shocking support team. I must admit it’s not everyone, I’ve had occasions where I’ve been helped by very kind members of the team. But the other day, after several years on the app, several hundreds of items sold, I was wrongfully suspended from the app, I listed an unbranded dress up jacket and it was taken down and classed as counterfeit, which got my account suspended. I thought this was a clear error so reached out for the support, and the team refused to explain why it was classed as counterfeit because it was “confidential”. It feels they don’t value the sellers at all. I have then asked for records of my purchases and sales, and to be given details on any sales I hadn’t posted yet, and I’m yet to get a response from the team. Overall it’s been a terrible unfair experience and has caused great complications for me. From a sellers point of view I don’t recommend Depop at all when it comes to support from them.

depop has been alright for the past couple months ive had it but recently i have ordered a coat and the seller has not posted it and it has been 2 months since i purchased and i tried to get a refund but your’re not allowed to get a refund before 30 days when its clearly been about 60 days. I am really disappointed because i think i may have just lost £20 unless it lets me refund it.

I was selling authentic stuff and made a lot of money and with 5 star reviews and they took down my account one morning and couldn’t tell me what I did wrong, they just said I didn’t comply with terms and conditions. They just take down your account and don’t tell you what you did wrong in particular and they never help you get back your account. They told me that I should “consider the action irreversible” and the banned my device. I saw my reviews and Reddit saying a similar thing but I just thought that they were stretching the truth or unlucky but it’s absolutely true, when you start making serious money, they take down your account and don’t help you get it back and can’t tell you what you did wrong.

The marketplace fees are utterly ridiculous. 8.55 on an already large order is criminal.

They suspended my account for no reason saying that my items were counterfeit however they’re on vinted and eBay normally. Do not download that app!! So low

ppl on there are either resellers of shein / temu products or just putting stupid prices on things. sooo expensive for a second hand app. got scammed on there like 3 times lol
