The Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System supports more empowered and integrated diabetes management. Its low-profile, wearable sensor provides real-time glucose data to a user’s compatible display device, no fingersticks required.†  
Dexcom G7 also offers customizable alerts that can help warn of high or low glucose levels, as well as remote monitoring and reporting options that help keep users connected to their loved ones and care teams anytime, anywhere.

In addition to the accurate performance provided by the Dexcom Sensor, you’ll receive other valuable features:

Apple Watch:

G7 app features and partner integrations may differ by region.  Refer to your user guide for more information.

**Compatible smartphone is required to pair a new Dexcom G7 sensor with a compatible Apple Watch. Dexcom G7 users must continuously have their smartphone within 20 feet / 6 meters to utilize the Share/Follow features. Apple Watch is not capable of Share/Follow.

I lost my receiver recently. I was told that a new one is around €270. The receiving device looks like some cheap, tacky device from the eighties and not complex in it’s functionality. It’s probably made in some third world country for buttons. Greed and profit before the users wellbeing.

Ever since I updated this app in April 2025, it has gotten so much worse. Everytime I try to check my blood sugar, it freezes and then force closes EVERYTIME. It is only when my sugar is low and it does that annoying alert, that is when I’m actually able to read my blood glucose levels. Fix this app!

Nothing but hassle since I moved to the G7. Can’t pair, wrong readings out of range. G6 was much better. A week now with no readings. Back to finger pricking. Pump now back to manual mode. Technology is great when it works. Way to much anxiety with this.  Tech support is robotic and not personal.

When I’m lucky to get a sensor that doesn’t have issues the G7 is a fantastic piece of tech. But it’s rare. More often there’s some problem with the signal, or the sensor won’t pair with the phone, and then there’s the problem of calibration. Dexcom says the system doesn’t need calibration but I’ve noticed that some cgm readings can be as far wide of the actual BG by as much as 5mmol/L. I’m starting to doubt whether this system is even safe to use given the number of issues I’ve had with it. 

That said, when it works it’s great. But now I have something else to worry about: will the sensor break today? Then I’ll have to spend 20 minutes on the phone with tech support when I’d prefer that the thing just works as it’s supposed to.

Since I got the Dexcom a few months ago it has always had calibration issues. The issue is it says calibration in progress for hours and in this case a week and a half and I have changed sensor, it still says calibration in progress from the 10th of July, it is now 21st. This has been my main issue with Dexcom I have no problem calibrating my sugars but it can be very inaccurate and when I can’t calibrate it to be what they actually are it is very frustrating.

I’ve never had any issues with this app. However on this new 2.3.0 version my clarity app has stopped working since I updated to this version. Really disappointed as lots of missing data now.

A truely terrible app/ sensor experience. The sensor is also TERRIBLE falls off despite over path, proper application. Constantly looses connection this is my biggest problem !!!. Can’t use in other countries- of course my diabetes takes a holiday too . 
Feedback tracking is completely absent - when you call support they can access all the failure logs like with a libre  where you see both the error logs and error code. 
Despite giving feedback through every avenue possible never contacted by anyone.

I really like the widget that allows to me monitor my bloods from the home screen. Can you please add a widget for Lock Screen and standby so that you can monitor glucose without the need to open the dexcom app.  This should not be a major overhaul. 

The iPhone 15 will be released tomorrow 22/09. 
Can we please finish the iPhone 14 support so that we no longer have a warning on the opening page that say it is not supported. 

The iPhone 14 has now been out a full year. I think it’s time to complete the development and support for iPhone 14

I’ve recently been moved to the g7. The app wasn’t working so I rebooted the app but because I am abroad I can’t reinstall the app so will be without a CGM for the next few weeks even though I have sensors. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. We’ve tried everything but have been told by product support that there’s nothing they can do about it. Would not recommend to anyone. There should be a warning before you delete the app.
