“Direct to watch” never works. 1st sensor was 75-80 points off. Had to replace after day 3. 2nd sensor paired to watch but never works. Have to keep phone close. Had to switch to Dexcom because of lack of availability on FS3. Dexcom needs to step up their game and become more reliable as a medical device and not a convenience. STILL having issues after 4 weeks of usage and CONSTANT issues. Directly to watch is a joke and even worse (if possible) since Apple upgrade. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IOS 18 Beware if using this and expecting it to be accurate
My first review of an app ever. Did you make the app terrible just so we would be forced to shell out the extra $ for the receiver? I’ve had a G7 less than a week, and I’ll be going back to the Libre. The app constantly crashes, I have to turn Bluetooth off and on multiple times a day because it isn’t finding the sensor on the same arm holding my phone, and it gives me a blank white screen like it’s doing right now. I’m so frustrated that I paid more for an inferior product in the Dexcom. 😩 (restarting app and phone do not help)
Screen Time, Low Power Mode And Hidden Apps cause problems with the app. Dexcom needs to develop their app properly to work with iOS properly. This is a critical app to monitor medical issues and it is difficult to understand why Dexcom doesn’t develop the app to work seamlessly with iOS. Thank you. Update: , Dexcom, sent me a link to a form for a sensor problem in response to my review. This is an app issue not a sensor issue. The problem is that the app isn’t 100% compatible with iOS, as stated on Dexcom’a own website. iOS features need to be disabled when using their app.
I’ve had five consecutive sensors that aren’t pairing. Not sure if this is an issue with the sensors or the apps. I would consider another company seeing as the products seem to have a high failure rate.
It does what it says on the tin: shows me my glucose levels. But when it comes to user ergonomics, I’m convinced no one on the development team is a diabetic user of this. The app lacks a dark mode. I can’t dismiss alerts from my Apple Watch. I also have a pump alert app and it doesn’t talk to it and defer to its alarms. Loses sync with widgets and Apple Watch all the time. It gets three stars because it still shows me my glucose when I open the app, and it alarms when I’m high or low. Nothing above and beyond here.
The app jn reality is not bad, but fails too much, and the watch direct never works properly.
I’ve had it for 3 days and it had disconnected from Bluetooth at least 10 times. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and the connection does not last. Very disappointing to pay as much as we pay for poor connection and an app that does not work. Will probably ask for a refund and cancel if the problem persist.
Had been working supper well. Until Monday when I tried to start a new session. It does not want to pair with the sensor it keeps “searching “ for it. I’ve gone through 3 sensors and I’m still getting the same response. It’s really frustrating, these devices are not cheap and I really depend on it. I’ve tried deleting app and re installing and it’s still not working.
I’ve been using Dexcom for years and have never had a problem with it. In fact, I used to recommend it highly to my patients. Unfortunately I’ve had 4 sensors fail during the warmup period over the last few days. The first two times talking with tech support were ok but they had no useful suggestions to resolve the issue. I just got off the phone with Emma with customer support who told me nothing could be done and that I should just keep trying new sensors and calling for replacements if they fail. She was very rude, laughed at me at one point, and hung up the phone on me. Time for a new cgm provider. I will not be recommending this product to anyone anymore.
