LOVED the character designs, still do but I tried to go back on after being like off the app for a month or 2 and all of my old info was gone. It kept trying to make me start new accounts and I had so much progress on my other login. I can’t do it again lol it’s not fun to do all that kinda stuff over and over. I’m just sad that this is the end of my journey with this game. Not sure why all of a sudden it did that, if it was like an update or something but dang it kinda stings bc I spent too much time in this app for it to b all thrown away. Can’t even get on their website to try and put a troubleshooting tix in bc it’s down/wont load. New players def give it a go. I got the game because Markiplier was in the ad, but I couldn’t actually play it. The opening dialogue has typos and was so poorly written, I was groaning before it ended. When the opening scene was finally done, I came here to write the review and uninstall the game. The story so far: your character has amnesia, wakes up in the hospital with someone mocking you for not knowing things even though you have amnesia. She gives you what your character magically knows is a headset, but looks to me like the head of a furry costume. I don’t know who would see that and think “headset.” You then wonder what happened to your body, but they don’t say why you wonder that. They show you your character several times and you seem fine, so I don’t know what’s going on with that. There’s also something you can select when you first join, and I have no idea what’s it is or why it matters what I pick. It turns out that those are the servers, and you can’t change without losing everything, so don’t join unless you know where your friends are. Upon returning, I discovered that a bunch of my Espers (characters) are now missing (I had unlocked the majority of them). Clearly at some point, the account had been rolled back removing these characters. I understand, it happens. I contacted customer support to let them know about the issue. Their response? “You’re mistaken, that’s not possible. Have a nice day.” ” I know there’s not much a developer can do in this situation, but do something! With limited hope because the reviews I had seen were all talking about how boring the gameplay was. This really could not be more wrong I find Distyle to be just stimulating enough with a bunch of gameplay modes to keep me interested. It’s been beginner friendly so far and I’m actually enjoying the visuals and gameplay a lot.
