Company charges 6.99 for delivery (I’m around the corner less than 1 mile) then delivery drivers will bang on door until you tip them extra - they say they get none of that 6.99 so where does it go? -- TheSk00p!, 2026-09-12 ### *---- "Cannot PAY on an ecommerce app!" This app is insane, how much business are you losing from not letting your customers order and pay? It’s not weeks, months, maybe over a year that I cannot pay with ANY form of payment. Insane your dev team isn’t on this in an instant. -- MarleneJGA, 2026-09-12 ### **--- "App tracking is terrible" While the pizza quality has improved, the inability to accurately track when an order will be done is about bad enough to drive me away for good. Our order wasn’t ready until an HOUR after the app said it would be done. After visiting the store to pick it up the first time and being told it would be another half hour, I called and was told it would another half hour. Then the app jumped to “done” and our pizza ended up sitting and getting cold while I drove to get it. The workers at the store complain about not having control over the app, but the customer doesn’t have control over the app or the poor estimates from the employees. Hopefully if enough people complain Domino’s will actually fix the app. -- vGOboom, 2026-09-11 ### *---- "Payments" One cannot access payment methods until the last screen of checkout. Once there one cannot change payment details or delete cards. I swear they are just using AI to figure everything out and humans are not actually involved anymore. App can’t decide what screen it wants to be on. I constantly have to remind it if I want to do delivery or carry out and what address I’m having it sent to even when it’s the same as prior. And the tracker has become an absolute joke. Before you start, it will say in order could be to you as quickly as seven minutes. You place the order and all of a sudden it jumps to 30 minutes. Then it says oops it’s going to take longer and now it’s going to be 40 minutes. And then suddenly it says that the driver is on the way. Like it’s just making up a time regardless of how busy a store is or when your order is actually in process. Today it told me my order was delivered before my driver arrived. To be clear it was not the driver’s fault. I actually contacted the store and they had to reach out to the driver because my order had cleared on the driver’s side too so he didn’t have an address. Also, since they don’t label boxes anymore at the store side, you can’t tell if your order is correct or not until after you get your items inside so if there’s an error, you don’t know right away. Same with one touch re-ordering of your favorites." Gift card should be able to be added as credit and stored indefinitely. I’m gonna put in a gift card every single time you have to order, adds more steps and inconvenience. Also, allow for one touch re-ordering of the same thing with the same deals applied. And yes, if you change the deals, then throw an error message, but the 2 topping 2 pizza for $6.99 each is a staple and been here a while. This app was working fine until it started to completely mess up. There was a time where I ordered a pizza and it said there was a problem so I ordered it again and it said it again. I did it ONE more time and it worked. Not even two seconds later they call me saying I placed 2 more orders and they wanted to make sure it wasn’t done by mistake. I told them it said it didn’t go through so I kept trying and it turns out it was going through the whole time. Second, I have a 50% off code and everytime I try to add it it says there’s an error. But when I add any other deal it works. I’ve deleted this app two times to see if it would fix itself but it hasn’t. I even tried to sign up for the rewards thing to try and get my code to work but it said I didn’t have an account with the dominos app??? Every single time I want to order a pizza I should NOT have to update the app. I cannot tell you how many times I decided against ordering dominos for the simple reason when I tapped the app it told me I had to update and EVERY single update says "to fix bugs." What kind of incompetent tech workers have to "fix bugs" each and every week? Sounds like a scam to keep themselves employed.
