I’m looking for a specific feature: search for podcasts in foreign language. No description about this so I tried it. This feature is unfortunately not available. So I wanted to return the app after 5 min but it did not allow to refund. That’s not ok!

### ***** "A key App to manage Podcasts on Mac, iPhones & iPads"
As Apple destroyed Podcasts mgmt in the transition from Mojave to Catalina, I found Downcast as the only solution to listen Podcasts on ALL my Apple computers and devices while allowing me to manage my Podcasts the way I want, not the paternalistic way Apple want you to follow and to be able to save episodes I want to keep in properly organized folders.

Personal message to the Developer: Thank you so much for your apps, please make it a recurring paid app, I am ready to pay you every year on all my devices to be sure you continue to support it.

Das hier wäre eigentlich keine schlechte App, meiner Meinung nach aber viel zu viele Features und dementsprechend komplex in der Konfiguration. Irgendwie scheine ich mit der Konfiguration auch etwas falsch zu machen. Immer wenn ich unterwegs bin und Podcasts hören will, spielt der Podcast bis in die Hälfte und dann kommt eine Fehlermeldung. Das ist mir nun immer wieder passiert und ehrlich gesagt nervt das tierisch. Ich hätte lieber weniger Features und dafür eine App die das macht was sie soll, Podcasts herunterladen und abspielen. Ich werde mich mal umschauen was es sonst noch so gibt, denn diese App nervt einfach zu heftig.

yeah...many many features - 99% happy with this. 

features missing: 
- remove played downloaded episodes after a period of time (like 24h).
- ordering/grouping of podcast-episodes should be improved especially in playlists.

UI/UX:
- (1 star) really ugly - many duplicate functions and not so easy understandable icon-set
- overloaded main screen
- bad usage of gestures
- no support of keyboard shortcuts

missing apple-tv version

But I very like (that is the main reason for using it):
MAC - APP exists (also not a beauty contest winner) but it works.

Bester Podcast–Player, den ich bislang im Store fand. Ist dem vorinstallierten Apple–Player in Sachen Funktionsumfang und Bedienung weit überlegen. Dass die App nur in englischer Sprache vorliegt, ist kein Nachteil, da die Menüpunkte selbsterklärend sind.
