The game was great when it first came out, now it is a sad state of boring content the main menu UI is way worse. My own opinion on the gameplay, I really don’t want to play a mobile game and have to really focus on it the auto function in this game is terrible because you can’t auto the story as it gets to difficult and you have to try.I play mobile games like a background thing I do while I’m cleaning or watching tv this is of course my own opinion and way to play. The PVP is terrible as if you don’t have good units you just won’t get far. The units animation are legit the only cool thing about this game but if you have a job and actually live a life the gameplay is just not it. Not to mention the boring unfun grind to get CC. The game ranks very low on my mobile game list and the reason why Dokkan is the better dragonball mobile game I don’t need to focus to play I can set it up do a rotation give them orbs and go don house chores but in Legends I have to sit through swipe swipe press press because if you don’t you won’t get far. All in all the game is a 2/5 great card arts but lacks the core fundamentals of a mobile game. If I want to focus on a game I’ll play ps5 or PC

In the recent PvP matches, I frequently experience severe lag when initiating an attack. I become unable to perform any actions, while my opponent seems to move and attack without any issues. This situation occurs especially often when matched with Japanese players. Losing under these conditions is extremely frustrating. Additionally, I would like to address the Summon system. I understand that the game requires monetization to maintain operations. However, for long-term players, there are very limited ways to obtain large amounts of Chrono Crystals without recharging.
In the current ULTRA Rising banner featuring UL Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed), the guaranteed pity is set at 500 pulls. I am currently close to 460 pulls and have not obtained the character even once. This is extremely discouraging.
Previously, on the new LEGENDS Vegito banner, I also spent over 220 summons without pulling the featured unit. Experiencing this level of bad luck repeatedly, despite such a significant investment of resources, creates a strong sense of frustration and disappointment.

I have been playing this game for around two years, using two accounts since one got deleted for some reason, But I greatly enjoy this game and love playing it, I love the ultra’s the legends limited and I have had good luck with them, I do think that a selling system should be added, Like if you didn’t want a character, extremes and hero’s could be sold for zeni, While selling a sparking would give you 10 chrono crystals while a legends limited would sell from 100-500, but anyway, I can’t wait to see what’s added to the game

Dragon Ball Legends is a masterclass in how to ruin a great IP with atrocious design decisions. The biggest problem by far is the matchmaking, which is hands-down some of the worst I’ve ever seen in any PvP game.

The game constantly throws you against players miles above your level, running fully maxed, meta teams with the latest broken units, regardless of your rank, skill, or team strength. There is absolutely no sense of fair or logical matchmaking. One match you’re fighting someone reasonable, the next you’re against a veteran with perfect reactions, lag advantage, and characters that delete your team in seconds. Calling it “skill-based” matchmaking is a joke — it doesn’t measure skill, it measures how much money someone has spent.

PvP itself is a toxic, lag-filled mess. Inputs don’t register properly, combos randomly drop, dodges happen inconsistently, and matches are often decided by connection quality rather than player ability. Even worse, the game frequently punishes players for disconnects or crashes that are completely out of their control, sometimes handing out losses or point deductions for issues caused by the game’s own servers.

Balance is non-existent. Older characters are practically useless, while new banner units are blatantly overpowered on release, clearly designed to force spending. If you don’t whale, you fall behind — simple as that. This game is aggressively pay-to-win, and it doesn’t even try to hide it.

What makes it more insulting is that even when you do everything right, the game still finds a way to screw you over — whether it’s lag cancelling your combo, bugs turning wins into losses, or matchmaking deciding you deserve to be stomped for the next five games straight.

Dragon Ball Legends has great visuals and a beloved franchise behind it, but the core experience is unfair, unrewarding, and rage-inducing. PvP feels like a chore instead of a competition, and progression feels pointless when matchmaking and monetisation decide the outcome before the match even starts.

At this point, it feels less like a game and more like a frustration simulator designed to test how much nonsense players are willing to tolerate before quitting.

Avoid PvP unless you enjoy punishment — and avoid the game entirely if you value fairness.
