I paid the one time purchase some time ago as I thought it was worth it but today when I tried to use the app in my new laptop I see I have to subscribe or pay a hefty one time fee that I already paid in the past. This is very annoying that you pay once and you think you will never have to pay back and then after some time they decide that everyone should pay more. Thanks for nothing Duet team! Suddenly I’m only allowed 10 minute sessions and I can no longer use the iPad screen in the vertical position. To restore full functionality Duet demands that I get a subscription and pay about 3 times as much per year as I’ve already paid for a permanent licence.
