There are over one hundred additional Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, reference books and devotionals that you can download and add to your library absolutely free!
Also available are some "locked" resources which must be purchased from their publisher. These are copyright and licensing requirements which are unavoidable.
Please note that e-Sword LT is an *ENGLISH* release (but does include Spanish, Portuguese and French UI localization.) There are dozens of non-English Bibles available, but all other content is in English.

Excellent
Waiting for iphone version many years. If there are fast keys like double tap or hold for copy verse, bookmark will be better （2013) ------------------------------------------ So far the best bible app including comphrensive bible versions and commentary. It cont'd improving. Fast key for bookmark suggested (2014)
Disappointed
So far to my expected user friendly surface I want the style of iBooks especially the highlight pen. I want to jot note on the verse like iPad version of es word
The “compare“ feature doesn’t work
I want to compare bibles side by side and the feature doesn’t work when I click on “Bible compare” it just shows a random Bible translation it doesn’t compare one Bible verse with another one like it’s supposed to.
Great Bible Study Resource, but
Just got this app for my iPad and immediately the reason for only 4 stars is there is no horizontal display option. This is my preference for most apps on my iPad. It would allow greater view for the multiple column setting. I have used e-Sword on my Windows PC and I’m spoiled I suppose. Other then this I believe this is still the best Study Bible resource available.
This used to be my go to every morning..
But the widget is no longer available. Please bring it back! I love how it felt like a little morning message from The Most High Yahuah. Please please bring the widget back, it was also used for our homeschooling aswell.

Copy and paste issues but still the best Bible app
It’s nearly impossible to copy text and select what you want.
No more daily reading (today) on iOS 18 iPhone
I would like to see this brought back if possible. As far as using app. Very helpful in witnessing to lost and referencing scripture to defend the truth, the word of God (KJB). When I don’t have my physical bible with me. Also great for looking up verses that I can’t remember were there at, the search engine on this app is excellent. Highly recommended.
