There are over one hundred additional Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, reference books and devotionals that you can download and add to your library absolutely free!
Also available are some "locked" resources which must be purchased from their publisher. These are copyright and licensing requirements which are unavoidable.
Please note that e-Sword LT is an *ENGLISH* release (but does include Spanish, Portuguese and French UI localization.) There are dozens of non-English Bibles available, but all other content is in English.

Prachtige app.
In één woord prachtig.
Great app
I use it every day to study my Bible.
Excellent app
I use it every day to do my biblestudies. I've used it since the pocket pc (Windows CE) was still hot. At that time these pocket pc's were very slow. If you used the search function, it would take minutes to get results. Now, with the iPhone app the searches are instantaneous. I'm delighted! I'm also very happy with the choice of Sqlite as the database format, because this means I could transfer all the bibles I have digitized to this app.
Great app use it a lot!
I like it that you can compare versions and also have the Strong references available. All the add-ons are great too.
Excellent: easy and portable
Love the app for it is well designed and easy to use. Helps me to get deeper and find more gems in the Scriptures. Favorite bible app.
The “compare“ feature doesn’t work
I want to compare bibles side by side and the feature doesn’t work when I click on “Bible compare” it just shows a random Bible translation it doesn’t compare one Bible verse with another one like it’s supposed to.
Great Bible Study Resource, but
Just got this app for my iPad and immediately the reason for only 4 stars is there is no horizontal display option. This is my preference for most apps on my iPad. It would allow greater view for the multiple column setting. I have used e-Sword on my Windows PC and I’m spoiled I suppose. Other then this I believe this is still the best Study Bible resource available.
This used to be my go to every morning..
But the widget is no longer available. Please bring it back! I love how it felt like a little morning message from The Most High Yahuah. Please please bring the widget back, it was also used for our homeschooling aswell.

Latest update broke the “compare” feature.
