Die Eclipse Countdown App ist ein hochauflösendes astronomisches Werkzeug, das sowohl für Beobachter entwickelt wurde, die absolute Genauigkeit verlangen, als auch für Anfänger, die einen Führer durch das außergewöhnliche Erlebnis ihrer ersten totalen Sonnenfinsternis benötigen

Angetrieben von den neuesten 3D-Rechenmodellen des Besselian Elements Teams, bietet diese App genaue Kontaktzeiten bei Subsekunden-Finsternisen mithilfe von Mondgliedmaßenprofil-Korrekturen. 

Egal, ob Sie professioneller Forscher, Astrofotograf oder engagierter Finsternisjäger sind – diese App liefert die strengen Daten für eine erfolgreiche Expedition – von interaktiver Karte, die für die Planung nützlich ist, über die Simulation des Countdowns und der Übung mit der Ausrüstung bis hin zur Echtzeitverfolgung, falls Sie sich auf der Suche nach dem richtigen Ort bewegen.

• Präzisionszeit-Engine: Echtzeitberechnungen der Kontaktzeiten basierend auf Ihren genauen GPS-Koordinaten
• Interaktive Kartierung: Hochauflösende Pfad-der-Totalitäts-Überlagerungen einschließlich Umbralgrenzen und der Mittellinie. Die IQP-Methode berücksichtigt die Topographie sowohl am Mondrand als auch am Beobachterstandort und basiert zudem auf einen verbesserten Wert für den Sonnenradius der Finsternis (959,95" ± 0,05", basierend auf Forschungen des Besselian Elements Team). Die Mittellinie der Finsternis sowie die nördlichen und südlichen Grenzen des umbralen Schattenpfads erklären ebenfalls diese drei Faktoren. Daher sind diese Linien nicht glatt wie bei den meisten öffentlich verfügbaren Finsterniskarten, sondern deutlich gezackt. An jeder Bahngrenze werden zwei Linien dargestellt, die zwei Werte des Sonnenradius der Finsternis (959,90" und 960,00") entsprechen, um eine Unsicherheitszone statt einer einzelnen Grenzlinie darzustellen.
• Live-Audio-Synchronisation: Ein ausgeklügeltes Sprachsignalsystem, das kritische Kontaktphasen und astronomische Phänomene (z. B. Schattenbänder, Sichtbarkeit der Korona und Veränderungen der Sonnenfilterung) ankündigt, sodass Sie den Himmel oder Ihre Geräte im Blick behalten können.
