Incredible game, everything is perfect and it is quite addictive. I just do not understand those who say it is impossible to win. A have been able to defeat all bosses several times with random teams. I like to play from time to time. Never get tired of playing this incredible game.

There are few usability issues, but those are the smallest problems in this “game”. My largest complaint is the difficulty level, which is way harder than in table top version. IMO this is too hard with easiest great one. And game is totally random. Player cannot make any tactical decisions, because player is forced to use all possible assets against every task. If you buy this game, be prepared to be very frustrated, as it takes dozens of tries to get a single victory over easiest opponent. Only way to win is to get a lucky setup. Buy this only if you are hard core Cthulhu myth is fan, and want next to impossible game, where you have to use dozens of hours just get a few percent win rate. Personally I wish I could get a refund, because this game is impossibly hard.

Everything seems to be as it should be in this game. It looks nice, the sounds work well, there's really nothing wrong with it that you could spot before playing it. But then you make the mistake of trying to play it and you are hit in the face by a realization. See, there is this kind of a dice rolling mechanic there. You pick up a task, get some number of symbols you have to use them with and if you manage it, you get rewards. Simple enough, fun idea and again goes with the theme wonderfully. The realization you will have however is that it is next to impossible to get any task done. I have played about ten games now to a point it was not possible to win even in theory. That's about 120 to 150 tries to complete these tasks. I've tried everything, items, avery gimic the mechanics allow. I've got one of those done and the game allows you to have about 10-20% failure rate. Just for fun, do the math on how likely it is that the player could win the game. Now you decide if you want to buy this game and get defeated by the game pretty much every time or if you want to buy something that's actually realistically winnable. Make no mistake, the game is not hard to understand, the difficulty comes from certain defeat by rigged random generator.

Odotin paljon enemmän. Kyseessä on tylsä yksinpeli. Minkäänlaista moninpeliä pelissä ei ole. Taktikoinnin määrä on minimaalista. Homma ei yksinkertaisesti ole kiinnostavaa. Tsekatkaa vaikka "ticket to ride", mikä on huomattavasti onnistuneempi lautapeli.

Atmospheric and interesting mechanics. Almost annoyingly challenging, and I would like the original features as optional elements in the game. Otherwise very awesome.

Don’t get or spend any money on it. Even on easy you can’t win. If you like losing EVERY SINGLE TIME then get it. I like FF board games… this is nothing like that, almost unbeatable.

Hasn’t been updated in five years. Lots of bugs on the iPhone. 13 freezes doesn’t respond to input and so on. Skip it.

I have played omens for a few years and still enjoy it. I have one suggestion, make difficulty a selection in the pre museum screen and not have a difficulty bond to a old one.

This game runs smooth and is true to the table top game. Very few things like spells work a bit different but once you get the rules down super solid. The only bummer is if you turn off your phone screen during a movie scene it completely freezes and you lose progress. Exiting by flipping it up out of the way does it too but only during movies. Usually everything loads back in just fine if it is in between turns. I defeated Nyarlathotep(no spoilers but SUPER tough fight) my break ended during the movie so I had to shut off my screen and when I came back to it, it was stuck and I lost my entire game. I have screenshots of the win and the movies that play but my unlockable character is still locked. I will try to win again but that felt like a once in a while good luck streak to win. P.S. if anyone from Famtasy Flight sees this, is there a way to restore or get my investigator unlocked? If not no biggie but I am curious.

The variability of playing anything above easy feels like the rolls are absolutely against you, giving you everything but the results you need. Makes the game feel frustrating and not at all like you have a chance. I’ve had to start over on just the second level so many times, I may just delete the game out of pure frustration.
