Their reply? They sent me instructions on how to set up notifications on my iPhone. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I replied and they sent me the instructions on setting up notifications within their app, again 🤦🏽‍♂️ And I also noticed my complaint has been an issue for over 2 years and still nothing has been done nor any communication about any updates/changes or anything - the few minutes it took me to write this, I received 18 notifications for excessive heat warning when the temperatures aren't even in the triple digits, heck, just in the 80's with a few isolated areas that will climb that high. And again, this is the Red Cross not just some random developer so the assumption would be that they would actually care about the reviews, the feedback & the emails. Apparently they don't. And also some way to add their name and address to a list to be checked on. Just got put on hold for 2 hours so they could tell me they’d get back to me in 48 hours to let me know if my grandfather made it to a shelter after his county got flooded by Helene. I don’t mind waiting for a service that could be life saving but at the same time this seems like a simple fix that would speed things along and thin out the phone lines so there aren’t lots of people just trying to check if their family members made it to a shelter or not.
