ESET Secure Authentication is an easy-to-install, deploy and manage 2-factor authentication (2FA) solution for businesses. The second factor, which is received, or generated by the mobile app, complements and strengthens the normal authentication process and secures access to your company’s data.
The ESET Secure Authentication app allows you to:
- Receive push notifications on your device that you can approve to complete authentication
- Generate one-time passwords to use along with your username and password
Supported integrations:
- Microsoft Web Apps
- Local Windows logins
- Remote Desktop protocol
- VPNs
- Cloud services via AD FS
- Mac/Linux
- Custom apps

nestabilna
Ak otvorim aplikaciu po prijati push notifikacie zo zamknutej obrazovky, po kliknuti na Approve, autentizacia sice prebehne, ale aplikacia spadne. Po kliknuti na Reject, otp server neodosle nic, musim pockat kym vyprsi timeout.
Zbytocnost
Uplne k nicomu.. Zbytocna kravina
Funktioniert nicht mehr
Seit ca 2 Tagen bekomme ich keine Benachrichtigungen mehr. Ich habe sonst alle Fehlerquellen ausgeschlossen.
Buggy und instabil
Nach jeder Freigabe via Push crasht die App. Zum Teil ist die Freigabe via Push auch gar nicht möglich: Die Abfrage, ob man die Anmeldung bestätigen will, erscheint kurz und verschwindet dann einfach und es steht nur noch der TOTP da. Die Software-Qualität der App ist inakzeptabel.
Push-Benachrichtigungen verschwinden
Leider verschwinden jedes Mal beim Öffnen und Entsperren der App die Push-Benachrichtigungen, sodass man trotzdem dazu gezwungen ist, das OTP einzugeben. Die Option zum Zustimmen einer Anmeldung wird beim Entsperren der App im Hintergrund angezeigt, verschwindet daraufhin allerdings sofort wieder.
Funktioniert aber verbesserungsfähig
Generell Funktioniert alles, Berechtigung für Push kommt manchmal erst nach beenden und erneutem starten der App. Nach der Zustimmung der Push Nachricht sieht es so aus als würde die App abstürzen, eine Animation oder Nachricht wäre wünschenswert.

Update FaceId geht jetzt … leider kommt auf der Apple Watch nur die Option ablehnen und nicht genehmigen
