Capsuleers refer to it as the Far Sub-galaxy because it is one of the eight far regions awaiting exploration. Unstable Wormhole The recently discovered wormholes are distributed in Cobalt Edge and the low-sec space of New Eden, which let capsuleers can steer their ships through wormholes to jump, much like a stargate. New Enemy Forces--Wasteseeker Appear in the far borders of New Eden and is the collective term for the drone faction. These drones, ranging in size from frigates and battleships to even supercarriers, constantly patrol, scavenge, and salvage ship wrecks in space to build their own bodies. They are called 'Wasteseeker'. New Game Content In order to better cope with distant warfare, researchers have introduced more flexible combat capabilities of the Navy Issue Frigates. At the same time, the Concord opened the territory to expand new corporation tech, and developed an integrated technology suitable for drones! The game heavily restricts free players, making it almost impossible to progress without paying for Omega status—which costs nearly as much as EVE Online but offers way fewer features. • Alpha players are stuck in a dead-end. You can’t sell items on the market, use decent ships, or even train skills at a reasonable pace. • Pay-to-win mechanics everywhere. Paying players get stronger ships, faster progression, and full access to the game, while free players are left in the dust. • It’s not even the real EVE! Why pay a subscription for a stripped-down mobile version when the full PC game exists? • No real way to earn Omega for free. Unlike EVE Online, you can’t grind in-game currency to buy Omega, forcing you to pay or stay stuck. At its core, EVE Echoes is a pay-to-win mobile MMO with predatory monetization. So! Why am I angry at Netease then, and why am I trying to steal away new players from them? I’m not. It’s your choice to get the game or not.
