I've been using the Event Cinemas app for a long time now, and it's generally been fantastic. Recently, it has become outstanding with the live activities notifications. These notifications sit on my screen, showing me what time the movie starts and allowing me to quickly check when the movie finishes. It's outstanding!

updated feedback— Developers have responded quickly and fixed the bug that was causing the app to crash when attempting to load the pre-purchased movie tickets. Well done on fast fix ! original feedback— App crashes when trying to check in.🙁 Tickets were successfully purchased via the app, but when I arrived at cinema, the app opens ok, but when i try to view the purchased ticket (or check in), the app crashes and shuts down completely. this crash happens every time I reopen the app and try to view the purchased tickets. I am a customer who has Live Activities disabled (for privacy reasons); I presume the DEVs have not checked the stability of the app when Live Activities is disabled. luck the ticket operator was able to pull up my purchase and print paper tickets 😀

This app worked fine until this year when the last 2 times I’ve tried checking in it just crashes, and since it no longer offers the option to out tickets in your wallet you can’t view tie tickets u less you refer to the email you received. I’ve deleted and reinstalled but still nothing.

The session timer is way too short… 10 minutes to type in all my card details, enter email address, phone number and personal details. Might just be me but i can’t keep up with that. And then when the timer runs out i have to restart the whole process ! it doesn’t even save

Event cinema app won’t recognise me to log in.  I have account number and it just doesn’t work. Ive also used my name as well as my email address. I’ve been to cinema and they can’t help. App doesn’t differentiate between VMAX and normal sessions anymore for Marion cinema. It just shows all sessions as original.

VMAX still shows up for other interstate cinemas.
