So ma y books titles went ‘missing’ and the variety not there anymore especially for audiobooks. Im not sure if it’s because of the merging or for another reason. Ill it 2 more months. Plus the player is suuuper slow to buffer compared to apple Podcasts
Hi my name is almas and I was subjected to the same fraud another user had which is self subscription without providing the user with any confirmation notice. The free monthly trial is not an automatic approval of a paid subscription in the following month which requires an active cancellation from the user 24 hours prior to the expiry of that free month. The user must get a notification informing him or her that the free monthly period is over and that if he or she wishes to continue the subscription he or she needs to pay in which case he or she actively pays the normal way whenever an app is purchased. If the user does not pay, he or she simply gets denied access. This is how all decent app developers operate. This is a true payment fraud and I am surprised apple accepted to partner with such an App developer. I know I need to ask Apple for a refund but I wanted to warn other future potential buyers of this app and the tricky fraud used by the app developer. Shame on you!
I had a free trial of the application and I didn't like it. The application self purchased a monthly subscription without my approval! I don't think this should be possible at all! Beside, during that period I didn't even have a current payment method attached to my account. So the transaction was declined. Instead of canceling the subscription, the application have put me in negative ballance with app store. Currently my account is locked! I can't download or update any application and I don't have any payment method to settle this issue. In my modest opinion, this option of self subscription is a type of fraud and should not be accepted by any decent company as apple!
