No UAT for all scenario caused users lost opportunity
Complicated UX and no UAT for all scenarios caused users to lose an opportunity. Notifications for portfolio adjustment was not straightforward. When a user accepted the informed adjustment but removed selling orders, the system did not send buying orders as usual (the next day when sending orders after 2 pm). Instead, the system was set to retain all buying orders for up to 1-2 weeks as the dev team has a default idea that every user must sell identified mutual funds and use that money to buy new orders, which could take 1-2 weeks. However, they never think of the scenario that some users may not want to sell and willing to use the new amount of budget to buy new mutual funds as recommended. This order retaining logic led the user to lose a significant opportunity and disappoint in the Finnomena platform.
