For over two weeks now whenever I try and order, it keeps telling me the location POS is offline.
So I don’t order.
The only thing online seems to be the POS app, because that’s what it is - a POS.
I like the subs but if I can’t order, then I spend my money elsewhere.
I guess Firehouse Subs doesn’t like money.

The app keeps giving me an error message every time I try to review my cart and place my order. This is extremely frustrating since I can only benefit from the deals through the app. I will not give any Firehouse Sub franchise my business until they rectify this problem or at least offer the same discounts that are on the app for orders that are placed in person. I just wasted 20 minutes trying to place an order on the app. It seems awfully convenient for the app to stop working after 7:00 PM while subs are supposedly only $7.00.

They sent an email saying you could get a meatball sub for $7. We tried to order using the app and there was no cart visible.
My husband went into the location and was told it was not their problem. He could pay full price or leave.

Literally the best way to order your food if you don't mind picking it up yourself, awesome service and food is always fresh!! Coupons and exclusive offers are RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING!!!

The food is good, but the app has some serious issues that make it more advantageous to just go in and order. 

Most notably, the app doesn’t allow for cheese substitutions. Want a build your own sub with Swiss cheese?  Nope. You’re getting provolone and you’re going to like it!

Secondly, with the toppings that ordinarily come on subs, you can pick none, a little, normal, or a lot. But with other toppings, like for instance green peppers, you can only ask for them to be added. Not how much. 

Overall, the app accomplishes the bare minimum of what I would expect such an app to accomplish. Subway’s app is light years ahead.

If you want to order one of the suggested items, it’s fine. If you want to fine tune your order at all, skip the app and just go order inside.

I really wanted to try this place but I tried to order the two for 18 on the app and I couldn’t customize anything. I couldn’t find where I could add veggies. I couldn’t find where I could make it a combo. I asked three separate staff members at different times, and it was so busy in there, but the app is just horrendous. Compared to the subway app which is very clear the options what you can do a combo this needs to be completely changed. I would love to try firehouse subs, but I had to leave. I was there for 20-25 minutes, this is a horrible app interface

My girlfriend and I enjoy this place, but the app is useless to us if we can’t order gluten free. Plus then we can’t make use of points we’ve earned. So why would we bother even having the app. I’ll change this review when I can order gluten free online and in-app.

Edit: no review change here, all I got when I was sent to the customer support was a digital chat-bot that can only encounter technical errors 🤷🏼‍♂️
Good luck to anyone trying to sort issues out with the app.

Edit again: they’ve added gluten free in-app, I’m ecstatic.
