The best-selling reading game for kids has gotten even better! We've added more words, more languages, and phonics. First Words Deluxe provides endless fun for the toddlers in your life, all while giving your child a head start on learning their letters and learning to spell words.

Now with Spanish, French, German, Japanese, plus US and UK English.

First Words Deluxe is toddler-tested and approved, with a user-interface designed specifically for the littlest of fingers.  The game includes over 150 words in five kid-friendly categories:

** Animals **
** Vehicles **
** Colors **
** Shapes **
** Words from around the house **

(Fewer words are shown when the phonics option is selected, because many English words are not spelled phonetically.  A total of 68 phonics words are included.)

A wide range of options let you tune the game to match your child's current skills and abilities.

If your child is old enough to ask for your phone, they're old enough for First Words Deluxe!

My child has cerebral palsy and she loves this app.  Would be great if you could move the box with the word you have to spell to be in other areas of the screen.  It's hard for her to swipe up.  So if you could move it she could swipe down or across instead.

I purchased this after trying the lite version and my children love it!!!!!!  My 2 yr old spells the words and repeats the letters.  It has been great.  I have even handed the iphone to my friends children and they love the app too.  Even children that have never played with an iphone before can pick this app up and play it and love it.

This app is totally brilliant. It is easy enough for the kids to play on their own but awesome enough to keep them entertained for ages. My 3yr old autistic son loves it. He talks along with it. Loves the spinning pictures & sounds. We tried the sampler first & loved it. This is the one to get. It is better than the other packs as it includes more vehicles, animals, house stuff, etc than the individual apps does & at $5.99 is heaps better than 4 times $2.99 & having to switch apps. Highly recommended purchase. Hope they keep updating this with more stuff if the good reviews keep coming.

Within 1 minute of playing with this app my son recognised what he had to do to complete the task. It's a great party trick too... looks like the kid can spell :) Mind you, it's early days yet, but I'd imagine after a couple of weeks working with this fantastic learning tool, he'll be able to spell. Great work Learning Touch! Easily worth the $5.99.

My 5 and a half year old autistic and intellectually disabled son, who wasn't even remotely interested in learning the alphabet, now knows and recognises the entire alphabet in random order, spells dozens and dozens of the words in this app and types his own name. We've only had is about 8 weeks! We are praying there are more extensions for this app. We love it!
