I have a perfectly functioning FLIR ONE Gen1, the app shows that it’s connected, battery level and even the firmware of the device, but that’s it. it won’t show the thermal image.
FLIR could have kept a legacy app for customers like me, but they rather have you buy new devices from them :(

Bought this a while ago and now cannot use the flir camera because they updated the app and now this version on iOS 12.5 crashes. This iPhone 6 always worked with this app and camera. Seems like they think that I am buying the new iPhone or newer flir devices. Guess again, flir you got competition from Asia in all forms without apps, and for reasonable prices. Goodbye flir and their sabotage software.

This app recognizes the Flir One v2 almost never while at the same time the car inspect app does work. 
The development of the app removed a whole lot of functions over time. 
The combo hardware/software is a perfect example why it is a bad idea to buy hardware that relies on an app.

Dropping support for older hardware will definitely result in more complaints and stop future customers from buying the product as there is no other way to use the hardware outside this app. Turning off updates is not possible for iOS, except turning off automatic updates completely. You cannot expect customers to update all apps manually because of one app. Most people leave auto update on anyway and they will never see the notification. Once updated customers will find that it is not working anymore and then there is no going back. You will have to find another way and maintain two versions of the app for compatibility.

Dynamic Hot and cold spot view in real time
Multiple points you can add is handy.

But the temperatures are out of screen in landscape mode
and the alignment for msx is still not good, not enough with slider on most upper position.

Works like a charm but the temperature readings are off by at least 2 centigrades. Iff you can read them at all. The font is very thin an tends to disappear in the background. Room for improvement!

The app used to have multiple functions. Also it automatically saved the thermal photo-shots into the library. 

The current software leaves barely some capability compared to when I bought it. What’s worse. FLIR one is not storing the thermal shots into its library. Once I erased my normal photographs, all thermal images were gone. 

This is not a useful product anymore. Do not buy this product for serious use !!!!!!!

FLIR proves to be an unreliable equipment source. I would certainly not buy anything from them again.
