I needed a productivity app that got me hooked and looking for ways of getting more pts. And the only way to get more pts is to be productive IRL! This app caught me and def helped me get more done. Caveats: - it’s not really finished, but works as is - you don’t really need to subscribe to get its benefits - only do so if you want to support the developer - the adventure mode, where energy pts, experience pts and items are used, is fun but needs work. This app did not work for my schedule and life; I’m a person who already goes to school and has times where I work, study and reward myself. I did not feel rewarded by its gameplay loop and dropped it after a few days, recognising that it wasn’t for me. I forgot to uninstall this app before I had to pay for the subscription. I am deeply upset at how I can be charged 119 dollars from my savings account without having 119 dollars in my account. I’m now 40 dollars overdrawn. I am a broke ADHD uni student living paycheck to paycheck and it’s actually sick how this app can just take money without telling me. I received no notification from this app despite it saying that it would notify me 24 hours before. Other subscription services will send emails and/or notify the user the card was declined. I recognise this was so dumb of me, and I hope this isnt the developers intention but I can’t help but feel like this app designed for disabled users exploited my disability to make money. I urge others to not make the same mistakes I did. Like habitica, FocusTraveller.. any free habit app you have seen, I have probably tried it. But there is literally nothing like this app. This app has EVERYTHING I wish for as standard but obviously it’s still in development and has like things it could improve but as it is right now? PERFECT. Anything else added would just be extra “convenience”. This is FREE. And it has a clean space without too much information overload. I can clearly set up a timer or stopwatch for any activity I wish that goes along with any goal, and level up my stats for my character. I can then use this character to explore the adventure mode which I can only use points I earned through my timed sessions to play. SO your not even gonna be ABLE to waste hours and hours on the game feature unless you have logged hours of productive work for whatever goals you have. It’s a win win. You are given the slightest motivation to work so you can earn a points to do something more in the adventure mode. Suggestions I think would be amazing to see for more engagement, aesthetics, convenience and productivity. - Break timer feature (e.g 1/3 of worked time for stopwatch) ‼️‼️‼️ - Could also set up a community discord server to get easy feedback and suggestions from users, and for users to connect with likeminded people - Widgets - Goals on Home Screen (like those posts in a Tavern where it says a certain need and the reward for whoever does it) - Social feature of a leaderboard - More customisation on Hero (unlocked through focus energy points or smth) - See time spent on lock screen for those who want to save battery but also for convenience so they can track their time without having to open their device and possibly get distracted - maybe like a hub in the adventure mode or something for productivity advice/mental health advice and resources (meditation) - one day, Google web store feature… maybe. Lol. I’m getting ahead of myself. Sorry developer. Would be cool to learn comp sci to help u out But this app is honestly amazing and I love love love the concept.
