Foodnoms - Macro Tracker

A joy to use. Scans product barcodes and nutritional values with ease. Excellent user interface. Very happy with the app. Kudos. Received an update with A.I assist. Can’t wait to try it. It’s really helping me watch my numbers and I can see at a glance what food(s) I need to adjust. Thank-you FoodNom!

The iOS app is 5/5, one of the best apps on that platform. This macOS app is clearly a Mac Catalyst app, but I’m glad the developer has gone through the effort of making it available on the Mac. It’s better than a web app could ever be.

Downloaded this app to try and missed the date to cancel by. Doesn’t track the way I need and not user friendly for me. Find it a pain to use compared to other trackers I’ve used from a big weight loss company and another carb tracker that is free. Dave your money.

Super easy to use, my problem with sticking with food tracking is the entering of data when a recipe doesn’t exist. The AI bot solves that for me, I love that I can quickly give it text and an image of HelloFresh/etc nutritional info to quickly log foods. Shortcut support is spot on and the app quickly took over the action button on my phone.

I have no criticisms

Adding recipes is a nightmare and the tracking only works if you manually scan everything. It won’t add ingredients from the simplest urls. It is not worth 4.99 dollars a month

I do not understand how to use this app and there is no refund.

Hands Down the best food tracker out there and the primary reason for that is that it has the right features to realistically track your food day in day out. Design is superb and the efficiency and diversity of input methods is perfect. Barcode, nutrition label scanning, AI, are all fantastic and you can still go full manual if that’s your jam. Well done to Ryan for what’s without doubt a labor of love. Now, any chance for sister app that finally ties up all of Apple Health metrics with nutrition data and allows to report on a combined set of metrics? Would buy in a heartbeat.

Only app I’ll pay a subscription for. Developer is amazing and very responsive to feedback.

finally had enough of MyFitnessPal and decided to look for an alternative, found FoodNoms through reddit and i am so glad i did. Simple, Straightforward, and very useful macro tracker that doesn’t require any form of payment. i am never going back to myfitnesspal after finding foodnoms THANKYOU FOODNOMS!!!!!
