The Ford app is everything you need to elevate your Ford journey — all in one place. Access features like remote start, lock and unlock, vehicle stats, and GPS tracking at no extra cost.

· Remote Features*: Get added control with features like remote start, lock and unlock, and more in the palm of your hand.   

· Vehicle Management: Keep track of your fuel or range status, vehicle stats — and use your Phone As A Key — with a simple tap.

· Scheduling Service: Select your preferred dealer and schedule maintenance to keep your Ford running smoothly. 

· Electric Vehicle Features: Check your charge levels, precondition your Ford, and get public charging info all in one place. 

· Connected Services: Activate available trials, purchase plans, or manage services like BlueCruise, the Ford Connectivity Package, and the Ford Security Package.

· GPS Location: Never lose sight of your Ford with GPS tracking.

· Ford App Updates: Updated regularly to give you the latest features and information. 

· Ford Rewards: Access Ford Rewards to redeem points for Ford Service, Accessories, available Connected Services, and more**.

· Over-the-Air Software Updates: Set your software update schedule through the Ford app or directly in your vehicle.

I have found this app quite useful in the past & while I  dislike the fact that you can remote start more than twice it has been handy. 
A result of the latest app update, I can no longer use it unless I buy a newer phone.

The app now consistently reports remote features as disabled to preserve car battery. This used to be an occasional issue but lately it is almost constant. This renders the app completely ineffective. Hopefully this issue is resolved soon as the ability to unlock the car without the keys is very useful.

Not happy Ford Australia, I have owned a  2023.50 Next-Gen Ranger Raptor from new.

The latest update to the FordPass still leave out the reinstatement of; Zone Lighting Control

Zone Lighting Control was a feature when I first purchased my car, and with update in the FordPass App soon after this feature was lost. I was advised Ford was working on restoring it, but it has been at least a year since this was removed.

What are owners suppose to do to access these previously available in app features?

Very disappointing that we were not consulted on removal of these features or have the option to retain these features.

I’m currently in the UK and I can view my car via home security cameras in Australia, I was curious to know whether the wireless functions would work or not and sure enough to my surprise it all still works perfectly, all while being over 16,000km away, well done Ford.

Hi. Yesterday I installed this app on my iPhone to see how it works. At first I was pretty impressed with its functionality etc. I was particularly impressed with the lock, unlock feature. So later that night I thought I’d use the app to lock the car (next gen Ranger) for the night. The following morning I noticed that my keys were still in the car even though the car was locked. So I had to use the second key to unlock the car. When I tried to start the car I was presented with a number of warnings about park brake not working, abs not working etc etc!! It took me a while but eventually I realized that the battery was flat. Hence all the alarms. So my question is….. did the fact that locking the car using the app with the remote still inside the car have triggered some sort of battery drain overnight??? The battery had 5.4v in it. I had to get the Raa to come and jump start it. I was then able to charge it and it is still holding charge at the moment. 
So could this be a possible cause for the battery drain?? Cheers puzzled
