## Free WiFi Description
Overal en altijd gratis wifi. De radar zoekt gratis hotspotlocaties over de hele wereld. In de VS en Europa is er op bijna elke straathoek een hotspot. Deze app helpt je ze snel te vinden met behulp van de ingebouwde gps van de iPhone.

De software leidt je met één druk op de knop naar de dichtstbijzijnde van meer dan 100.000 draadloze hotspots in 15.000 steden en 132 landen. Makkelijker kan niet. Hij toont cafes, fastfood restaurants, winkels, hotel lobby´s, bibliotheken etcetera waar u gratis wifi kunt vinden. Haal uw e-mail op en surf op internet zonder te betalen. De ideale wifi-tool voor frequente reizigers en mobiele professionals.

De app toont u het dichtstbijzijnde gratis hotspotadres, geeft een routebeschrijving via Apple Maps en toont aanvullende informatie, zoals de hotspotprovider, het telefoonnummer en de website. U kunt handmatig door de volledige database bladeren op land en stad, of ervoor kiezen om automatisch resultaten te tonen op basis van uw locatie.

De app is niet afhankelijk van wifi-scanning, wat het bereik zou beperken tot slechts 25 meter, maar gebruikt gps om alle bekende hotspots tot op een kilometer afstand te lokaliseren. Alle draadloze toegangspunten worden lokaal op je iPhone opgeslagen en je gps-gebruik is ook offline beschikbaar, dus dure dataroaming is niet nodig. In het buitenland bespaar je op die manier kosten, omdat je altijd een gratis draadlonze verbinding voor je laptop en iPhone vindt.

Ik heb deze app al een tijd geleden gekocht, in 2009, maar er is nooit meer een update van gekomen. De database is ondertussen zo verouderd dat het niet meer praktisch is. Zonde van de uitgave dus, zou graag een up-to-date programma willen hebben voor m'n geld...

Als je een app voor 2,39 koopt verwacht je wel wat, zonder de huidige recensies te lexe heb ik op buy gedrukt.

Maar helaas het is niet wat ik er van verwacht had.

Graag een update uitvoeren met wifi locaties!

Slechte service. Heb in Duitsland verschillende aangegeven punten geprobeerd, maar geen wifi signaal te vinden.
Volgens mij geeft de site betere info, de app deugt in ieder geval niet en mag wat mij betreft als malware beschouwd worden.

Helaas is de database niet compleet. Bij ons in het dorp zitten minimaal twee restaurants waar je op terras gratis in kan loggen. Maar het programma stuurt me minimaal 10km verder weg. 
Jammer genoeg kunnen we zelf niet deze locatie's toevoegen.

Weggegooid geld. Op de locatie waar ik zit zijn 2 netwerken op 140 km van mij vandaan. De rest van Indonesië heeft geen freewifi volgens deze app.

Gewoon een goede en handige app. Zeer gemakkelijk in het buitenland met een routeplanner.

App ziet er goed uit maar een extra instelling zou wenselijk zijn.
Het is voor niet t-mobile/kpn gebruikers in NL lastig en overbodig om al deze (abo) hotspots in beeld te krijgen.
Daarom graag een optie voor echt gratis.

This is a very handy piece of software. It helps me find networks which are faster then 3G. I even use it in places I know because it finds locations with Free WiFi that I was unaware of. Great software. As an extra feature I would love to see automatic log-in for Hotspots that are part of your T-mobile subscription.
