The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1][2]
You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:
* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* See reports, such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3]
SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.
USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.
Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

FreeStyle LibreLink is intended for measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with a sensor. For more information on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, refer to the User’s Manual, which can be accessed through the app. If you require a printed User’s Manual, contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Support.

Badly designed
The blue “scan” button is too small and not very responsive. I often have to press it 3 or 4 times to get a response. Very frustrating.
Excellent app
It is an excellent app. Only upgrade necessary is to make it compatible with Apple health app through which it might help to share data freely to Apple Watch. Please look in to that. Thank you
Not working since last update
Not working since last update with iPhone SE. Apple Pay working no problem but not picking up last 3 sensors. It scanned the sensor on old phone so it’s not the sensor. Tried deleting and reinstalling a few times but no luck.
“Scan” button only works 20% of the time
App is buggy and unresponsive since latest version was released. I almost always have to hard restart the app the get it to work or it scans but doesn’t show the reading - please fix this bug as this app is important
Latest update bugged
Last update bugged to pieces. Glitchy
sensor error
Keeping having sensor error replaced sensor an error keeping showing telling me to wait 10 mins it starts to work then error happens again. Not good while your driving
Not happy
I’ve been using this app for over a year and it has been working fine until two days ago I’ve used two sensors in the past three days and the app still won’t scan my sugars I’ve also used 1 new account on a different phone and the problem still is not resolved
Bought a sensor in Brazil, couldn’t use and the dev says “don’t do it”
Long story short: I used the app in Ireland normally. Visited Brazil, bought another sensor and installed only to have the app refuse the sensor. Turns out it is tied to the BR App which does not show on the Irish App Store. Result - lost the sensor and the money as I can’t switch countries (Apple policies) and can’t possibly order an Irish sensor here. This would be solved by simply downloading the BR version, but the dev response was simply legal and not helpful.
