I got a developer response telling me to disable smart quotes system wide to fix the issue. That is not a solution when other FTP apps, that I now use, do not have this issue. Update from developer response: This apparently has to do with the smart punctuation feature of iOS 11 (released in September 2017). It is now April 2018, more than 6 months later, and the developers have not produced a fix for this.
