GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas

I’m not sure why I’m receiving policy updates when I already closed my account with this app , please fix it

Read the updated privacy policy. They track your driving data, speed, braking, etc, and sell this data to insurance companies, that’s how they make money. They used hide the fact they do this. The only reason it’s public now is because they were caught and forced to admit it publicly. Just google it. Remember if the product is free, you’re the product. If you care about keeping your insurance costs low and your privacy, you’ll dump this app.

Fewer people are reporting gas prices with the new version of gas Buddy! I used to be motivated to report prices all the time but not so anymore. It used to be a very good app but I don't think it's all that great anymore since the changes. I especially don't like the smaller print as it's hard to read. If you're into the points they are not awarded evenly across the board. One recent challenge that had 20 levels I found one buddy that was awarded points to a level of 21 while everyone else is maxed out at 20 where did the the extra level come from?

You would expect real time updating, but that’s not the case with this app. It varies differently from the website and station by Sometimes a couple days. Old prices are still visible on the app.

Disappointed with your app, you keep changing your deals.

Why must they collect your health information?

Update 23491 sadly broke the app it doesn’t load more than a few prices on Wi-Fi or cell data and sometimes won’t load anything

Used to be a useful tool but games and cheaters have made the reported prices mostly (>50%) unreliable. No fun driving out of your way to pay .20-.30 more per gallon than you were expecting to.

The amount of data this app wants just to give you the price of gas on the map is ridiculous. You don’t need that much information.

Love this app, but keep getting stuck at gas stations with “member price” and regular price. And since I’m not always a member, get stuck paying 7-10 cents more per gallon.
