I have just found, following my iPad battery draining rapidly, that the Geelong Advertiser app has used 15 hours operating in the background. I don’t have notifications on and only used the app for 27 minutes in the same 24 hours. I noticed a battery drain a couple of days ago but hadn’t pinned it down to the app until today when the same thing occurred.
