I have a brother that is in there for eight years. I tried to respond to him on this New Year’s of 2025 and was unable to after I put $10 on the account just for it not to show up and says that I have no money in my account. It doesn’t make sense because I have a receipt through email. And I can see that I made a deposit on the app, but there’s no money in my account supposedly. -- NinaSimone9577, 2025-01-02 ### **--- "Please fix the app" In nearly a year that I’ve had to use this app and the video app, notifications nor sounds for the notification comes in. Up until almost 2 weeks ago, I was at least able to SEE the notification banner come in on my Lock Screen, but not anymore. I wait every day to see when my husband messages me and it’s not until I get tired of waiting and I go to message him, that I see that he messaged me hours previous. I have an iPhone and it’s also doing this with his friends and family who has androids. No sound when it comes in and no notice on the screen. We ALL have every option turned ON and nothing. When telling my husband about this and having to apologize to him bc I’m not seeing he’s messaged me, he had me go to settings (checked all that…everything is on). Also while talking to him he had me come here to see if I’ve missed an update and NO UPDATE! Please fix this and other issues this app has, like unable to open. Many error messages, and for the love of all things holy, please fix the issue when trying to scroll back through older messages. Mine slowly only moves one line at a time and ‘bounces’ in between each line taking it FOREVER to read something from the day before or even to see if a picture I had sent has been approved! Constantly having issues when trying to make a deposit to either account. I know nothing in life is perfect, but with the amount of money that we send to your loved ones and how much each message and picture is, having this app more friendly with little issues seems kind of necessary. Thank you! Here I am trying to add money so that I can tell my husband goodnight AND THE FREAKIN APP HAS YET ANOTHER ERROR! Unable to make deposits on the app due to there is always an error of some kind and then you are directed to contact customer service but customer service is usually an automated system not a live body. And in those years, they have done nothing to fix any of their problems that occur on an all day basis, 365 days out of the year. There are so many glitches in this system I don’t even know how the CDCR maintains any type of working relationship with this company. I’m pretty sure there has to be a contract because I would’ve stopped using your service a long time ago. It’s shameful that companies depend on the fact that they have contracts with people or certain business entities that they feel like they don’t have to provide any type of quality service. They’re getting paid anyways, so what difference does it make. That’s not a good way to approach doing business with because that will not last in the long run. It’s really inconvenient and causes a lot of problems between families. You should take more pride in your work and fix your system to where it functions even in the least bit properly. Concerns are not addressed nor do you get any kind of replies to any complaints or issues that you have with their service. This poor services has destroyed the foundations of relationships. Now they are going through a deposit system “upgrade” that has been going on for over a week with no eta on completion. So now, they’ve taken my money and have no credited my account in just about a week leaving me with no contact with my person since Christmas and 4 more weeks to go probably with no contact thanks to this company.
