This Chromecast HD needs an update badly it’s always crashing

Got a camera which made me migrate my Nest account to Google. Problem is, there was no migration! I now have to manually add my thermostat and 3 smoke detectors. And of course, all need to be taken down to get at the QR code to set up. Would have bought another system had I known Google F’d it up this bad.

The app never works it constantly will not load the remote for the chrome cast The google home app has crashed multiple times and will no longer work no matter how many time I uninstall and reload and now it won’t even connect to the chromecast period So not recommend

Confusing app

Nest cam door bell video response is poor. Loading is slow, sometimes blacks out and won’t load video unless the app is closed and reopened. Also why does it asks to check for Bluetooth devices every time this app opens? It is better to use the native app, nest in my case. Very unpolished app by Google, low quality software developers and no design finesse. 1/10

I keep getting roadblocked by "internal errors" and "network errors". I'm following all the instructions, ticking off all the permissions, have my iPhone and Chromecast up to date and I still can't connect to my chromecast.
