Easier start with clear instructions. I enjoyed the workout. Can’t wait for my next routine.
I bought this app because I love the Couch to 5k/10k, despite there being many free apps offering the same thing. I expected varied workouts, encouragement, reminder notifications. I didn’t expect four naff exercises, 5 mins of warm up with no actual warm up, a need to keep pressing ‘done it’ rather than just following a count, and zero notifications or way of sticking to the 8 weeks.
Just needs less time between workouts...1min 30 secs is a huge waiting time. Also the “how to do exercises” button is a small inconspicuous question mark at the top the screen, lucky I found it but it needs to be more obvious!
Did this app while also doing the 0-5k running app and definitely saw a difference in body shape! Not really exercised before but the short sessions made it possible to slot in easily.
I recommend. It gets you building up your reps. Great for a beginner.
Great for getting back into exercising.
Great integration with your music and good explanations for exercises! However I've started adding my own exercises at the end in the 5 mins cool down like plank and sit ups as I feel the workout isn't varied enough. I then time my own 5 min cool down. The rest periods are a bit long too, although you can just skip them, so that doesn't bug me too much.
Great flexibility in the app for your own level and exercises are great and productive
This is a good starting point to keep you on track for at home workouts, however I do feel that extra exercises maybe need to be added to make the workout harder in its later weeks. The 1:30 rest time also could do with just being 30 seconds. Good app though, would recommend it.
