Ich habe eine Woche lang Zeit und Mühe investiert, meine Stadt aufgebaut, Ressourcen optimiert und erste Truppen rekrutiert. Kaum war der Anfängerschutz vorbei, wurde ich von einem deutlich größeren Spieler einfach überrollt und meine komplette Stadt erobert. Keine Chance, keine Verteidigungsmöglichkeit, kein Ausgleich. Das Problem ist systematisch: • Pay2Win: Wer echtes Geld einsetzt, überspringt Bauzeiten und kauft sofort Armeen. Free2Play-Spieler sind nur Futter. • Kein Fairplay: Neueinsteiger werden ohne Rücksicht sofort gefarmt oder erobert. • Frust-Mechanik: Wochenlange Arbeit kann in wenigen Stunden komplett zerstört werden. • Extrem zeitintensiv: Wer nicht 24/7 online ist oder nachts Wecker stellt, verliert. Statt Strategie und Spaß bleibt am Ende nur Frust und das Gefühl, seine Zeit verschwendet zu haben. Grepolis sieht auf dem ersten Blick nach einem spannenden Strategiespiel aus – doch dahinter verbirgt sich ein extrem frustrierendes System, das fairen Spielern langfristig jede Motivation nimmt. Das Spiel ist massiv auf Echtgeldeinsatz ausgelegt. Wer bereit ist, hunderte bis tausende Euro zu investieren, dominiert das Spiel – durch Sofort-Truppen, Premium-Boni, Götterkräfte und endlose Beschleunigungen. Als normaler Spieler hat man kaum eine Chance, mitzuhalten, besonders in Events oder bei Weltwundern. In aktiven Welten wird man gnadenlos überrollt, sobald man nicht 24/7 dabei ist oder ein dickes Portemonnaie hat. Noch schlimmer wird es, wenn man mit jemandem im selben Haushalt spielt (z. B. als Paar oder WG) oder sich auch nur besuchen möchte. Trotz zwei Accounts, zwei Geräten, unterschiedlichem Spielverhalten – sobald man dieselbe Internetverbindung nutzt, darf man sich nicht gegenseitig unterstützen. Auch der Kontakt mit denselben Allianzmitgliedern wird durch eine 48-Stunden-Regel praktisch blockiert. Das macht koordiniertes Teamplay unmöglich, obwohl es eigentlich ein zentrales Element des Spiels sein sollte. Statt Spieler zu fördern, die gemeinsam Spaß haben wollen, bestraft das Regelwerk genau diese. Ehrliche Spieler werden behandelt, als wären sie Cheater – während Leute mit viel Geld oder fragwürdigen Methoden locker durchkommen. Fazit: Grepolis könnte Spaß machen – tut es aber nicht. Statt Strategie bekommt man ein Pay-to-Win-Spiel, in dem nur gewinnt, wer am meisten zahlt oder am wenigsten schläft. Wer fair spielen will oder einfach nur mit seinem Partner zusammen zocken möchte, wird von starren Regeln und absurder Gängelung ausgebremst.
