Step into the Plaguelands – a cursed realm where death is never far. Every forest hides a threat, every ruin breathes with old magic, and no path is truly safe. Discover long-abandoned castles, forbidden temples, and ancient altars buried in shadow.

• Enter the Challenging Dungeons
Beneath the surface lie ever-changing dungeons filled with traps, cursed guardians, and powerful relics. Each descent is a risk – few return, and none return unchanged.

• Follow Quests and Uncover Secrets
Ravens bring whispers of danger and reward. Track forgotten letters and torn scrolls to uncover the truth behind the Gray Decay – but beware, some truths are guarded for a reason.


SURVIVE AND BUILD

• Survive and Craft
Gather resources, hunt, and craft everything from weapons and armor to tools and supplies. Hunt wild beasts before they hunt you, and scavenge ruins for rare components. Each crafted item is a small step toward survival.

• Build a Fortress
Raise your walls high – this world will try to break them. Fortify your shelter against waves of the undead, enemy raiders, and things that roam the night. Only the well-prepared survive.


FIGHT AND JOIN FORCES

• Engage in Tactical Combat
Fight for your life with weapons forged by your own hands. Every swing counts. Time your strikes, dodge with precision, and face enemies who don’t feel pain or fear.

• Join a Clan
Face the Plaguelands alone and you’ll fall. Join forces with others, share strength and supplies, and stand together against the darkness. Some battles can’t be won alone.


Grim Soul is a free-to-play action game, but it contains in-game items that can be purchased. You must be at least 13 years of age to download this game and begin your adventures in Grim Soul. Like the game only issue major issue is that you lose all your gear and weapons when you die. If you buy the packs be aware that if you die that will wipe out all your gear and weapons you are carrying. Wish this wasn’t so.

I don’t get why you would make it seem like this is an individual player game when other players can take and steal what I worked for. I got and paid for the broken cart event so why did another go and take everything. And why do you advertise good loot at events and there never is! It’s frustrating. I love playing but I hate playing with other people. And the rewards system is not even balanced.

This is a re-skinning of a zombie game engine, of which there are 2 or more existing (zombie-themed) instances in the app store: “Last Day on Earth: Survival” and “Days After: Zombie Survival”. If you’re not willing to consistently invest real $money$ then eventually the game just becomes tiresome. Your fancy weapons break. Even your basic tools like the axe break. You’re basically always trying to get out of poverty, but that doesn’t happen if you don’t keep spending money. Want more evidence? The VIP subscription is $7.99 a *week* which is nearly $400 per year! That’s absolutely absurd.

I loved this game until I paid real money for an item, a bag, and then went into a catacomb. I died, which is fine and expected in any game. What I did NOT expect is that I die and EVERYTHING disappears, including the items I paid REAL MONEY for. Poof. Gone. Can’t get it back. This game just lost its luster for me. 

I would not have paid actual cash for anything had I known I could lose it to a death, and I would not be so disappointed to the point that I am uninstalling this game because I feel tricked. 

This should be fixed to either not happen, or put a disclaimer on purchases that they are not permanent and can be lost. I have never played a game where you died and lost access to purchases. Not a fan of it. I really liked this game too.

I enjoyed this game until I died on a run and lost an in-app purchase. Gone for good. I decided to give it one more try was doing fine, but then one of dogs needed help for 5 seconds I came back and I was dead on a low key run. Lost my in-app purchase again. Deleted the game.
