I’ve been using this tracker for 1.5 year and it has everything I need! I like the videos with techniques, I love that I can add warmup sets and dropsets besides main sets, also I use notes quite often to remember how I felt during the training, plus, tracking RIR and deep analytics in PRO version is everything I could dream about in a gym tracker😄🤙🏻 I tried a lot of trackers and this one is the best so far❤️

This app is so incredibly helpful for people like myself that do WANT to get to the gym, but don’t necessarily want to *think* about what to do at the gym.. or even if you’re just not sure which exercises are most optimal for your goals, it makes it so much easier on you for an all around better gym experience. Totally worth it.
I’ve been lifting consistently for over 20 years, from bodybuilding to powerlifting, kettlebell sport to hiit. It’s a safe assumption as a lifting tech exec to say I’ve played with a number of apps…and I have. So far Alpha Progression pro has impressed me the most. It’s completely replaced my need for a notebook in the gym, not just for the set/weight/rep tracking, but also because the periodization baked into the targeting algorithm is designed to have you hitting mini PRs throughout your mesocycle. We often get hung up on just increasing weight but it’s smart enough to recommend and reward you for those minor rep PRs, the volume PRs, the muscle group volume and load PRs, in addition to the coveted weight PRs. The other aspect I really like is the premade plans are pretty good out of the gate. To give it a fair evaluation I used a defaulted 6x/week PPL plan and it was really well done. Based on how it was progressing I’ve already built out my next 6 mesocycles for hypertrophy, strength, massing, maintenance, and cutting phases. I’m excited to see where I’ll be app while using the app because I know even when I’m not performing the way I want on a certain weight it’ll help to get me over the hump.
Me 49 Wife 49 Son 21 Daughter 16 all use it and all have good results. Just do what it recommends and it’s hard to go wrong. Three of use have been on it for more then a year. Daughter just started all of us are way stronger and feel so much better. It’s I great app.
I have only gained muscle using this app. Even a coach couldn’t keep me going like this app does. It’s the best and has all sorts of exercise replacements if you don’t like the suggestions they give. Update: it’s hard to see the Stars on my phone. I thought I picked 5 stars. I updated it
I’ve been doing strength training for about four years now and this is one of the first apps I actually like using. You basically get tons of features that you would never see on another app like Strong or Fitbod, which is why I prefer this one over the others. I think this would be great if you’re just starting out and wine to get some structure in your bodybuilding journey, but overall it still can be handy for people who are even intermediate or advanced trainers.
Best fitness app I’ve used
Great app for progressive overload 💪, I love that it guides you on when to up your weights and you can swap out exercises that you don’t have equipment for or a different exercise that works the same muscle. Awesome app!
