## Índice de calor Description
La primera herramienta de "Índice de calor" que utiliza la ecuación de Lans P. Rothfusz.

[Descripción]
El Índice de calor es un índice que combina la temperatura del aire y la humedad relativa, en áreas sombreadas, que es la sensación de "calor" o "frío" que se siente; se debe no solo a la temperatura del aire, sino también a otras condiciones ambientales, como la humedad y el viento.

El Índice de calor fue desarrollado en 1979 por Robert G. Steadman.
El cálculo del Índice de calor es un refinamiento de un resultado obtenido mediante análisis de regresión múltiple realizado por Lans P. Rothfusz y descrito en un Anexo técnico del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (NWS) de 1990 (SR 90-23).

El Índice de calor también se conoce como "temperatura del aire sentido", "temperatura aparente", "sensación real" o "sensación".
La humedad en el aire puede aumentar la sensación de calor, mientras que el viento puede aumentar la sensación de frío.
Por ejemplo, cuando la temperatura es de 32°C (90°F) con un 70% de humedad relativa, el Índice de calor es de 41°C (106°F).
