HER: Lesbian LGBTQ Dating

This app was good but now it won’t open. I re started the app, re started my iphone, did an app offload and reinstall. I went to app support and it says that page does not exist anymore. Has the app shut down?

i got to write my bio ONCE. want to change it? well youre not allowed! try to go to the apps support page? doesn't exist! look at our "gayest" blog instead! for an app that shoves ads down your when literally doing something as small as flicking through tabs ypu would expect better. feels more like a company trying to make money rather then a space for queer people. oh wait. it is.

Why would you name an app “HER” if it is going to be open to literally everybody including actual men?? It is no different than other apps like Tinder in terms of user base. With the basic version you have a limited number of swipes, more than half of which are wasted on male and fake profiles. I appreciate the sentiment of being inclusive but in the process, the entire purpose of the app is lost and it is actually useless for gay women.

Disappointed app said 7 days free then pay £24 a month so I click on it then end up have pay for it but I thought said free for 7 days free then pay after it but took my money in bank so disappointed and hope get refund back! And app I not keen as too many fake and lots of them old app as they not used it

got a popup while using saying here's a 7 day free trial, it then charged me the full month immediately which i didn't want anyway, not happy

You can’t do much without paying for a subscription, and honestly, you probably won’t want to anyway. I’ve tried a few free trials of the premium option, and it’s still not worth it. Limited swipes (not likes just swiping) so you’ll only see a limited number of profiles a day. The app is full of fake profiles and scammers—I’ve had multiple “sugar mummies” try to scam me out of money. And multiple fake profiles with fake pictures waste my time. So by the time you’ve used your swipes half of them are fake and scammers. Yes you report them and more still come back. They need to introduce verification. Lots of criminals taking advantage of the poor customer service and poor app development to exploit unassuming genuine people. By attempting to make this a dating app “for all,” they’ve compromised the safety of their core audience: queer individuals. The fact that cisgender men who don’t identify as queer are allowed to match with lesbians is alarming. REALLY???? The community pages have become a breeding ground for explicit content, and I’m sure these men are exploiting it for their own gratification, while many women are unaware their profiles and pictures are being seen by cis-hetero men and probably using for their own gratification. I mean I’ve just seen a picture on there of someone’s hands covered in what appeared to be discharge. It’s disgusting! It feels more like an X-rated hookup app and place to post explicit content rather than a space for genuine queer connection. If that’s your thing, fine—but there should at least be an option to filter out what you don’t want to see. For example, there could be more community groups based on location. As a user in the UK, I’m constantly seeing profiles very far away with people in the US—who’s doing long-distance dating like that when the app has the potential to connect you with people nearby? The app should focus on connecting people nearby. It’s such a simple fix, and I’ve even raised the issue, but nothing’s changed. If users want to be more “risky,” there should be a dedicated community group for that, like a “naughty” section, so explicit content is kept where it belongs. Right now, it’s unbearable.

This app all of a sudden isn’t opening anymore and I’ve got messages I wanted to reply to. Very annoying

I hardly match with my type of woman and find it very hard to find dates on here, people are not that friendly on the app and it’s quite difficult to use

App allows lots of males to exist in the platform. Making it hard for it to provide a dating service for lesbians as it says it does. Constantly have men popping up who identify as not men.
