HeroQuest - Companion App

Used the app many times but since the latest update can’t attack monsters. Very disappointing since I purchased the game for nostalgia reasons and now can’t play solo anymore.

They didn’t have but they did And it functions well enough Nothing some house rules can’t fix But greatfull something is better than nothing

Without this app, I wouldn’t have purchased the board game and expansions. Having the app take the place of the tedious and lonely Dungeon Master role so that friends can all play as a team is a godsend. App is gorgeous and works well although the extra actions you have to do on the device is clunky and drags the quests along a bit. There were a few bugs at the time of writing this review: several issues with spells or abilities that should allow hero movement through walls or monsters. They weren’t working which in some cases had significant implications for specific quests or heroes such as the Rogue and spellcasters. Also, the character image selection doesn’t match up with the right image on the digital game board. Hopefully they will fix these in the next patch.

No sounds in ipad mini 6 please fix

On iphone, screen auto moves too much while trying to move heroes causing your finger to drag all over the place

App crashes on the loading screen with iPhone 6 🙁. Hasbro cutomer care for app non existent on website

The app is a great idea, and it works great. However on ios it is not allowing the sound or narrations to be played. Will there be a fix for this?

As soon as you make the mythic quests on the app I’ll be happy!! keep the updates coming and make it great for my 5th star

Great little app with appealing design and sound effects. Finally all my players of the board game can play as heroes and vs the computer. It would be nice to have a landscape view so that you can view on your ipad or tv so that all players can view
