If you’re new to working out like I was then this app gives you some great pointers for how to do the exercises! I’m sure there’s plenty of features I’ve missed too, but one thing I’d add is some guides on what exercises are best to start with, as I’m sure there are plenty that are great that I’m missing because I don’t know how to do them
Great training app. Maybe not the greatest if you’re just starting out and need more guidance with training plans etc but if you have a base knowledge this is great. Does everything you need it to and has a good few training plans in there to pick as well as create your own if you have the knowledge. Great to show your improvement etc also and gains over time
Tried other apps but Hevy is the best by a long way for me. Easy to use easy to change routines over all easy for someone that is not the best with technology.
Can see workout and perform workout through apple watch and phone and it syncs perfectly 🫶
Its definitely better than strong but the UI isnt the most intuitive. Its looks nice aesthetically but some of the UI is just confusing. Needs to be streamlined mkr. There are severla screesns where the user name appears twice on the same page. Unnecessary button clicks are too common.
This is by far the best lifting app that has an Apple Watch companion (so you don’t need your phone on you when working out). My only gripe is that there is no way in hell the “pro” version should be a subscription over a one time purchase. All it gives you is more routines and longer workout history, which is stored on your phone anyway. Asking a subscription for these very basic unlocks is pretty egregious. And yes, there is a “lifetime” unlock, but it’s for a silly amount of money (£75!) for what you get. I’m sure a subscription makes the developer more money, it just doesn’t feel like a thing that should exist when it’s basically only unlocking more memory. I would be happy to buy pro if it was a one-time, reasonable fee.
Since using this app I’ve definitely seen an improvement with my workouts, I have my progress all in one place and the medals motivate me to push myself further
I’ve been using this app since Feb 2022 and it’s provided incredible gains and consistently. I finally paid for the lifetime premium, not because I need the features, but because it has made my life significantly better.
This app is a great aid to helping you reach your fitness goals.
As a beginner just didn’t know what to do - hevy just is a simple way to track, but gives you nice awards and graphs to show you are making progress. Definitely get it!
