## HF Weather Fax Description
Do you want to get your weather charts without using an internet connection or a dedicated computer? HF Weather Fax lets you receive marine weather radiofascimile transmissions, using the audio from your HF marine radio. Just set it next to the radio's speaker or headphones, tune in a weather fax frequency, and watch the images come in. The app can also receive audio from Bluetooth audio devices. 

HF Weather Fax is perfect for mariners who want to be able to view the latest weather reports and forecasts. 

Received fax images can be manually or automatically saved, and viewed later. You can also export them to your computer using iTunes. 

There is also a built in copy of the NOAA/NWS Radiofacsimile schedule, and an option to download the latest copy of the schedule from the NWS website.

Mejor que otros programas a través de pc y mucho más sencillo , igual que su otro programa  NAVTEX

It works as expected. You need to have a good signal reception (a good antena is recommended) as well as a good audio input signal (audio cable is the best solution; otherwise you will get a lot of noise and the weather map will not be clear) The possibility to schedule alarms for next receptions would be an appreciated functionality in the future, considering many people do not live in UTC. It means just include a database with the frequencies and switch on/off an alarm for each. At least for the main frequencies or even, create a customizable database where the user could add their frequencies.

I am using the HF FAX for more than 6 months and I have other apps from Black Cat.

This app is simple but works fine, it decodes the wefax transmissions with good quality.

Something to improve:
Audio input control
Possibility to have audio filters

There is something that goes wrong: the schedule document is not updated and it is not according to the version downloadable from NOAA web site.
