HNB Digital Banking

OTPs doesn’t always work, I’m sometimes unable to do a transaction since I am not receiving the email OTP. Also typing in an OTP for every transaction is annoying and time consuming, Sri Lankan banks should opt in to using digital tokens instead.

Payee list which I added from the e banking website is not appearing in the app. Though it’s not appearing, app keeps throwing an error saying payee is already registered. Therefore each time I have to go through one time transfer and manually enter account details.

It's a very good app. Easy to use and adding more functions frequently. However i had an issue when i did a transfer to HDFC Sri lanka Bank account. You app's ‘logo' belongs to HDFC India bank. HDFC srilanka bank's 'logo' is an orange colour one. I highlighted this issue via hnb e-banking system. No action were taken..

I really like the recent update. A lot UIUx improvements i can see in here. Here are few of my suggestions, 1. I don't want to see my username as Welcome in welcome screen. Username is a key factor in term of security. Instead I like to see my first name. 2. I’d like to login with my faceid/ fingerprint 3. Contrast is low in contextual area 4. Credit and debit remarks can introduce some presets. Thanks.

Horrible app. Takes 14 days to fix an issue that happened because of their errors. Playing with our money.

I’ve been using the HNB Digital Banking app for a long time and love its features, but after the recent iOS 18 update, I noticed that the app icons haven’t been updated to match the new dark mode for icons. It would be great if the developers could update the icons to fit with the latest iOS design. Apart from that, the app works smoothly and continues to be a convenient tool for managing my banking needs.
