Holding Pattern Computer

I’ll fill this in more once I’ve used the app, for now I’ll use it to ask a question: why no Apple Watch app/watch face. Holding seems like the perfect time for a huge wrist mounted timer button that actually knows what’s next!

This app was worth the money. It really helped me visualize the hold & being able to check my work by using this app was a game changer. It made learning holds during my IFR training a lot easier. I highly recommend!

I like this app it’s easy topi use and has helped me learn how to fly holding patterns. It needs to be cheaper. This app is only worth 4 or 5 dollars. But oh well I’d rather pay a few extra dollars here than fail a check ride. I would really like the heading indicator to point up. As you would see it in the airplane. This app only has north up and I have to turn my device to point it the right way. Please add this feature.

This app is a complete solution to holding patterns and is structured correctly in the setup process. An improvement would be to allow the app to run in the background to be called upon when required in flight.

This corrects heading for winds while in the holding pattern. Very helpful to know, because bad weather is usually why you will be placed in a holding pattern.

Works flawlessly. Easy to use. Takes the angst out when hearing those dreaded words, ‘advise when ready to copy holding instructions’.

Good reference tool as well as a simplistic teaching tool.

I'm an older IFR student, having a difficult (impossible?) time visualizing --- not so much the hold entry to use --- but what happens after I cross the fix, i.e. what route do you fly to get into the hold, and for how long, etc. I've looked at a dozen other similar apps, even purchased a few, but this one is by far "THE" best. In fact, there at no others that spell out exactly the heading and time you must fly after crossing the fix. I use my iPad in the cockpit to receive ADSB data, and knowing this app is a click away is a tremendous comfort. I hope over time, and with the use of this app, to be able to better visualize the hold entry and course to fly, but for now, I don't see ever being without it, even as just a safety check. It's so easy and intuitive to use, I'm really grateful that someone thought up this app. Thanks Mr. Developer!
