Nothing connects
I have smart stuff elsewhere. This hub has never connected despite using the same wifi software as all the Chinese products. Threw it all away.

With the Holman Home app you can use your smartphone to control all the programming and interface functions of a continually increasing range of Holman and K-Rain garden products via a permanent internet (and Wi-Fi) connection, you can then control the device remotely from anywhere in the world (using mobile data or Wi-Fi). These products are designed for easy DIY installation.
You can control the following products with the Holman Home app:
1 | GARDEN WATERING
• WX8 Irrigation Controller – 8 Zones
• WX1 Tap Timer – 1 Zone
• WX2 Tap Timer – 2 Zones
• K-Rain KRX6 - 6 Zones
• K-Rain KRX8 - 8 Zones
• K-Rain K Connect Tap Timer (Bluetooth only - can only connect to tap timer when within Bluetooth range)
• K-Rain K Connect Tap Timer connected to K-Rain K Connect Wi-Fi Hub
Features
• You have remote control access to your device to change any setting at any time via the app (excluding K Connect Tap Timer - Bluetooth only)
• Schedule three Starts to run on the days of your choice (KRX8 has four Starts and K Connect Tap Timer has eight Starts)
• Manually run any zone or Start from anywhere in the world (excluding K Connect Tap Timer - Bluetooth only)
• Set your run time in hours and minutes
• WX8s with the Holman Rain Sensor “Evie” or other third party rain sensors are able to automatically disable watering during wet weather
• WX1s and WX2s with Moisture Sensors are able to automatically disable watering when the soil moisture is above the set threshold
• KRX6s and KRX8s with a third party sensor is able disable watering using Scene Automations
• It is easy to share your device with other family members or users

Holman Home App
The devices work well but the App is very basic. The Home page is particularly uninspiring.
Easy to setup
Easy to set up via wifi, Nice layout the colour picker, Would like to see more scene added to the app for more choices of scenes, Also having the options to allow the lighting to automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. Otherwise this is a great app and great feature for the garden with lighting. Would recommend 100%
Buggy app needs a complete revamp
I got two smart water timers and the devices are great, however the experience of using them is ruined by the app. It’s extremely buggy, clunky to navigate, settings do not save. Please hire a new app development team to start from scratch and create something that’s user friendly and smooth, in line with other smart home devices. Such as Philips Hue, Google Home and Dyson.
Difficult to use
The scenes function makes thing unnecessarily difficult. All I want is a simple timer function
Good but missing some helpful / informative functions.
I’m using this app for watering only. Easy set up and control but lacks detailed tracking of watering. If you want to know how much water you are using each watering cycle you can only view the last cycle. Adding an alert for spikes in water usage would be useful for identifying leaks if they occur also.
Doesn’t work on 5ghz wireless so already redundant

The updated app doesn’t work
The new update refuses to initiate the start times , the old version was incredibly intuitive and worked perfectly the update , looks bad , is not at all intuitive or user friendly and iv gone over every single function but the starts won’t work . Why they would update a flawless working app just for the sake of it and turn it into rubbish is dumbfounding.
Location Location Locations
Since the app update I cannot set my location for various functions that use location such as weather in my area not 66 km away, please fix this problem
