Amphoreus story concluded, I can say this game is decent. The overall story is quite compelling, but lacks in keeping you interested with how cheaply made the NPCs look and sometimes bloated dialogue. For the gameplay: It's simply easy Turn-Based combat. No immediate strategy or required attention is in place with all content besides end game (Pure Fiction, Memory of Chaos & Apocalyptic Shadow) craving the latest meta units.

TLDR: 6/10. Mediocre gameplay, Good-Enough story, Well-Written lore and forced meta bound progression.

I see that the developers have started to get impudent, making incredibly expensive donation events and making useless the character that everyone has been waiting for so long. It's because the players are patient. Everything that will happen in the next update is because we are patient. Therefore, I will not tolerate it, I give a bad grade. As it is, the game is generally good, but the developers started using us as a milking cow.

I have played since beta, and this game has just gone downwards until now.

I finally uninstalled when the power creep became all too much and they introduced Castorice who has a global passive.

This is not good as clearing content is difficult as it is, and now she will become a requirement.

All in all, I’m very disappointed in the direction the game has taken and I would not recommend downloading it, let alone spending on the game. UNLESS, (and a big unless), they do something about this.

This is overall a good game, but it might get dramatically worse over time because of the implementation of ”global passives” that will give massive buffs to your account if you have characters with these passives, dramatically worsening the experience for casuals and low spenders without them. This first unit will be able to revive party members even when not in the current squad, which might seem harmless considering if you die you are probably underlevelled. However, there are rumours of things that will directly improve survivability and damage through these global passives, and that they will be released quite frequently. This knowledge has ruined the game for me, knowing that if I dont pull these charactters my whole account and old characters might not be able to survive new content. If these design trend continues, the gamés future will be grim…

Making a character be forced auto in a turn-based game is actually crazy, between that and the recent Anaxa nerfs my love for this game has been snuffed out.

Castorice, another character, gives buffs just by having her on your account. Powercreep is already a huge issue and this sets a dangerous precedent.

First of all, I really love this game! however, I can’t really login to my previous account, when I tried to enter using my email it let me in a new account, which isn’t my real account, and when I try to use my username so I can enter, it tells me that my account doesn’t exist. I’m pretty sure that I typed in the right username since I saved it. This is my favorite game and I got really upset when I found out that I can’t use my previous account. I really hope you can see this so it can be fixed in the future. ❤️

This game has awesome graphics, battles and story, but I truly dislike the fact that the majority of women and teen girls have very suggestive and revealing clothing. It’s still not as bad as some other games, but please consider making teens with less revealing and suggestive designs in the future. Also, please buff some older character and add more drops when farming.

I…truly dislike you. I really think that Hoyoverse should’ve stuck to Genshin and focused on making Genshin the best it can be. Everything fell apart after Fontaine. Honkai: Star Rail has triggering language and you can really only play the game if you have good characters that are built as well. Many players know the struggle of trying to correctly build a character, but it’s not that easy when all you get is relics with stats you don’t need. The turn-based gameplay is rather grindy and repetitive compared to other turn-based games I’ve played. The characters are either women that reveal a lot of skin, or men that look plain or over-detailed. As another review said, the game slowly started to fall apart after Jarilo-VI. The Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony, my deepest apologies, but I believe I’ve wasted my time thinking that this would be a fun and interesting game. I hope that this comes across as sincere, for I am not trying to insult you.
