Ease of use
Excellent App. Easy to use
The news HSBC Expat Mobile soo is absolutely crap compared to the previous HSBC Expat app which for some reason HSBC decided to discontinue. The pie charts and global consolidation is now gone. The FX rates are not as strong as in the previous app.
Telephone banking is limited when travelling. The difficulty lies in memorising the telephone banking number. There needs to be an alternative access method for non sensitive enquiries. Martin Walker
Super to get a reply back so quickly..
I am premier customer and I needed to get an up to date statement for my account. For that I have to reach out to customer care and then even after waiting for 2 days for 2 times every time an “empty”statement is generated. This bank doesn’t care at all about its customers.
Unintuitive and no logical processes to carry out simple tasks Account data is “hidden” and requires you to remember the downward swipe to reveal the account data - why not just provide a link 🤔 In order to generate a security code to access online banking (website NOT App) you have to log out of the App to get to the login screen to access the generate security code link - not very helpful if you are in the middle of a chat session which is then closed when you log out Whoever designed this app had no idea of banking workflows or standard banking processes and had created one of the most awkward banking Apps that I have ever used - even the Chat Agents find it difficult to use and don’t know how to access certain data eg. I was told the only way to access an account IBAN is via online banking (website) - however the IBAN is found [hidden] within the App 😝😝😝 This App is NOT for the technically challenged client - you have been warned ☠️☠️☠️☠️
Locked out of my account and nobody can help me. This company has so much money and the app and call centre service is appalling
I set up an online transfer from my HSBC Premier Expat account, based in Jersey to another bank based in Jersey. They charged me a fee took my money instantly and then told me that it takes 3 working days to pay the other account holder. How’s that for bad and inefficient customer service? Other banks are doing better than this.
