### ***** "Sehr gut und ohne Abo"
Ich gehöre zu denen, die nicht einsehen, warum man Software mieten muss, die man lokal nutzt, und deutsche Software hat für mich noch einen extra Bonus wg. Datenschutz.

Die App tut was die Entwickler behaupten, solide Software, anständiger Einmalpreis (50 Euro für Mac und 50 Euro für iOS), iCloud möglich, offenes Format (man kann superleicht hunderte von Txt- und auch Markdown-Dateien importieren). Bilder lassen sich auch einbinden/verlinken.

Plus: Sie bleiben dran und entwickeln immer weiter - auch in der Windows-Welt.

Dank dieser App ist das geräteübergreifende Arbeiten an Dokumenten problemlos möglich. Starke Tools und doch minimal, sodass man nicht aus dem Fokus gerissen wird.

### ****- "… wenn da nicht noch etwas wäre"
Seit vielen Jahren verwende ich iAWriter sehr gern, aber nicht für längere Texte, die in Kapitel und Abschnitte gegliedert sind. Also Texte zwischen 10 und 500 Seiten Umfang. Dazu muss ich auf dem Mac und dem iPad zu anderen Apps greifen, die mir eigentlich nicht ganz so gut passen. Aber: Sie haben ein navigierbares Outline-Panel, in dem man die Überschriften von Abschnitten anklicken und dahin springen kann. So etwas vermisse ich sehnsüchtig bei iAWriter.

Ich nutze iA Writer nun schon eine ganze Weile und muss sagen, dass es für mich die beste Schreib-App auf dem Markt ist. Sowohl für das Smartphone, als auch für den Laptop. Es macht einfach Spaß zu schreiben und durch die Notizen und Ordner zu navigieren. Alles ist wirklich einfach gelöst und man kann sich auf das Wesentliche konzentrieren. Dem Schreiben.

Zunächst störte mich die neue Baumstruktur.  Ich übersah, dass ich die Listenstruktur im Bearbeitungsmenü einstellen kann. Blitzsauber alles und perfekt einfach und zuverlässig.

### ****- "Textbundle o. ä. fehlt"
iA Writer ist ein ziemlich guter MD-Editor. Nur die Verknüpfungen mit – u. a. in importierten Texten eingebetteten – Bildern könnte besser sein.

### ****- "Keine Funktion mit anderen Clouds"
als Denen die die iCloud anbietet. Meine nextCloud/ownCloud Ist zwar in der „Datei“ App deklariert und ich kann alle Dateien auswählen, aber in der iaWriter App nicht einmal genannt. Obschon sie in dem Betriebssystem integriert sind. Ich wünsche mir, dass auch externe, nicht unbedingt vorgesehen, aber in den „Datei“ App Einstellungen vorgesehene Speicherorte für Dateien eingebunden würden. Ich habe die App erst einmal zurück gegeben. Für mich ist sie unbrauchbar, da eben keine klaut Dienste außerhalb der iCloud oder eben iaWriter wirklich nutzbar sind.
