### ***-- "Distracting issues"
I use the app, I value the minimalism, and the buy-it-own-it model, but a simple app should be seamless, especially given the price tag and minimalism. 

This app is not yet seamless. I do not think the implementation to mobile devices (I use iPad Pro 12.9) is complete and would like to see updates in this regard. 

I find myself frequently annoyed, which detracts from the experience. 

The drag and drop text feature frequently lands text where it is not intended. The whole feature is clunky and needs work. (I think some work is going into this.)
The visualisations/animations on drag and drop are not smooth. 
The scrolling during drag and drop is not smooth or intuitive either — not sure if this problem still exists. 
The cut and paste keyboard shortcuts for my external keyboard bug out and stop working, this does not happen in other apps. (It may just be paste.) 
I suggest the developers use the iPad app more as I feel the issues are fairly self-evident when you use it.

Update: 
The number one distracting feature for me right now is that one tapping the screen in focus mode instantly moves the text. This is jarring and disorienting, which should not be the case in focus mode. I suggest it move only when you start typing, and perhaps a slow scroll back to Center.
Also, at the moment, the top of the document contains a large space where no characters exist. This should be removed; the top of the document should be the top.
Ctrl + Y also does not work on external keyboard (Anne Pro 2). 
One touch on text highlights the word, I believe this was fixed in the last update and is improved.

Of course, if you expect this to be your only word processor, or even your main one, you are sorely mistaken - it is intentionally built to be devoid of extra distracting functionality and will never replace Word, Pages or Docs. For what I use it for - writing content with fewer distractions then moving it into the appropriate app - it is sublime. Very well done for the iPad Pro optimisation by the way - many apps really fail on that end.
